I was passing through and tried Arby's, but they were out of tarter sauce. I left and saw Flying Burger & Seafood so I figured I would try it. I ordered the four shrimp and 2 catfish combo to go. It came with fries and hushpuppies. I was offered four choices on the shrimp. These were grilled, fried, boiled or spicy grilled. I might be missing an option there. I chose spicy grilled. They ended up more like blackened, and not so spicy. The catfish was soggy on the inside. That was disappointing as was the soggy, limp fries. They hushpuppies were good. The grilled shrimp were par. I ate it all, however, while on the road home. I was hungry. Despite the excellent service from the servers, I probably will choose something else next time I pass through Ruston and happen to be starving.Parking: Lots of parking. Limited handicap spots.

My chicken burger and fries were very good. My husband took the grill Solomon and enjoyed it very much.They cleaned the picnic table outside for us because we had our dog. The manager came to check and recommended options.
Chicken sandwich it was a big piece of chicken and it was hot. But it just okay nothing great about it.

Out of towners. Food was pretty good but more expensive than we expected. Split a catfish fillet basket. Yummy hush puppies.

This place is really great, both with food and service. First off I’ve been to multiple Flying Burger Locations and this one has always been the best when it comes to consistency and service. I think the food rates really good, I can definitely recommend their burgers and if you’re in the mood for dessert the cinnamon rolls. Other people I have come here with have said good things about their fish and the fish tacos although they did not recommend the gumbo. I have been here dozens of times and even become somewhat aquatinted with the front of house staff. They are very nice and the few times anything has been amiss they have gone above and beyond to make it right sometimes to some extreme extents. I would 100% recommend this place if the menue interests you!

A must stop if you’re passing through this part of Louisiana. It’s family run and you can tell the food was delicious I had a crawfish poor boy which came with fries and hush puppies and I had a single cheeseburger both were spectacular definitely the type of food I was looking for in Louisiana. P.S. the owner was the sweetest most friendly person I’ve encountered on the road yet.

The fried shrimp PO-Boy is amazing!!! Great fresh fries too. Try the remoulade sauce! Even better than the food, was the customer service. We were going to be driving past and called ahead to order and the lady who helped me was so very nice and helpful! When we arrived we were impressed by the fresh fish and meat cases.
