I sat down mad angry from the day I had and once my burger hit the table I was in heaven by far one of the best burgers I have had
The seats were hard and had no cushion.. the food and service was good. Wasn't many people there when we were there.

I’m surprised at these negative reviews. We went tonight and the food was delicious and our server was great! We had quesadillas and fajitas and they were wonderful. Highly recommend!
The food is always delicious 🤤 My favorite Mexican place here
My son and I went there last night … the food was awful. We asked the waitress to change our order. Our order for 2, came in one plate instead of 2. Then the waitress came back and politely said we can not take the previous order of the ticket and asked us to pay for that. We did not. There were no manager there.. I do not recommend any one to go there

Anytime I am in Ruston, this is where I want to eat. The food is so much better than the competition in the area. We went on a Sunday after church and was absolutely amazed by how quickly they got people in and out, tables reset and maintained correct orders. I've been several times and each time was just as good as the first.

Wanted to try this place ever since we moved to Ruston last year and I must say I will never be back. If yall are only going to service your own ethnicity then you should jus say that
I got there at 9:30 and they were not so happy about it. I thought ther sing says they close at 10pm. I'm from out of town and saw that restaurant on my way so that's why I went there. So I didn't have a choice. Luckily the waiter who accept to serve us did a good job. Even though the food was not as good

This was my second meal at Gonzalez, and it's easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in Northeast Louisiana. The food is so good and the staff is so nice. I love the Day of the Dead murals. Enchiladas? Delicious. Burritos? Delicious. Rice and beans? ✅ and ✅. Even the sweet tea is a banger.
Parking: There are paint lines, indicating where to park?
Kid-friendliness: I didn't see one kid hit or yelled at. No one cried.

The birria tacos were excellent! The waiter was not super attentive even though there were only a handful of other tables occupied. Also where my seat was, the AC unit was blowing directly at my table and it was very distracting and uncomfortable so I had to swap seats with my partner for a bit of relief from the breeze. Food arrived to our table quickly and was good and hot.
Parking: Parking was fine when I went, but I imagine it could get quite full during peak days and times.

Delicious food!
Used to be my go to, but the service has become hit or miss. Margarita was watered down and steak fajitas were overcooked last visit which was very disappointing because usually the food is always great.
