Food is always delicious. College kids for employees, which is fine, but the girl in the drive thru was wearing very short, very tight, athletic type shorts on the day I visited. It's Bbq, not Hooters. It was not appealing.
Didn’t even take my order came for my first time I didn’t know there was a speaker to place my order so she told me she wouldn’t take my order after a long wait poor customer service, lady didn’t even offer to take my order. Only one customer said j line besides me. “I can’t take your order they’re a line.”

Buffet style Two meat plates. Sausage and ribs with two sides. Little steep for the price of food you get...$21.50+. Sausage was okay, rib(2) were dry, bland, and had a lot of liquid smoke on the rib. The beans are store bought, and the lady is opening a can behind the counter. Potatoes salad is from Walmart, and so is the coleslaw. The peach cobbler was burned to a crisp in the pan. The charge for ice water in a cup was 3.75$ in an 16 oz cup.. speaking of which just seen lady drop cups she was opening to refill the cups in the holder, and she drop on the dirty floor and just put them on top of the existing ones in the housing. Which in question my drink cleanliness is it sanitary? While lady restocking items and then playing with her hair at the same time.

I got the two meat plate with chicken and sausage. It was so good.
Myself and Miss Judy have been driving to Ruston with out any food intake from Madisonville, La for 25 years waiting to eat at Hot Rods. Saturday we got there ordered food and sat down to eat it. Miss Judy's BBQ ribs were tough and dry. My chicken was tasteless and the sausage was on the dry and on the tough side. To say the least we were very disappointed. I ask and found out that the new owners of Hot Rods were the son-in-law and daughter of the people that had made the place worth the drive for so many years. We are sorry that we don't have that place to drive to anymore. Noel Brumfield

Food was decent. However, I think the price should match the quantity of food. Order a 3 meat and was displeased about the amount of food for $14. I have never went to a BBQ place and a 3 meat only came with one rib. Btw, the rib barely had any meat on it. I guess it's a first time for everything.

Got a potato at 4 on Wednesday, it was dry, cold, tough and like it sat for a while, really a waste of my money and it was small. It’s usually decent here but this is unacceptable, this was after I pulled all of the burned parts off
