Love this place! Food is amazing and staff are as well! I just wish they'd bring back the white cheddar mac & cheese. They have a daily special that's different every day of the week and you also get a discount if you pay in cash.
Food is always delicious. College kids for employees, which is fine, but the girl in the drive thru was wearing very short, very tight, athletic type shorts on the day I visited. It's Bbq, not Hooters. It was not appealing.
Myself and Miss Judy have been driving to Ruston with out any food intake from Madisonville, La for 25 years waiting to eat at Hot Rods. Saturday we got there ordered food and sat down to eat it. Miss Judy's BBQ ribs were tough and dry. My chicken was tasteless and the sausage was on the dry and on the tough side. To say the least we were very disappointed. I ask and found out that the new owners of Hot Rods were the son-in-law and daughter of the people that had made...
