Y'all Rustonites(?) are so lucky to have this restaurant; We drive 3 hours a few times a year just to eat at this place.

There's nothing this restaurant makes that isn't great. We particularly love the BBQ Shrimp and the Steaks. Oh and the twice baked potato is chef's kiss.

There are not many places to eat in Ruston. The log Cabin is consistently good. I can not keep tracks of how many times I have eaten here. I have always had a good meal wether I went for their Tex-Mex dishes, Chicken Fried anything, burger or steak. Must be why they are always busy. If you find yourself in the area at meal time do yourself a favor and try the place. You will not be disappointed or go away hungry their portions are large.

Its rare to find a place that advertises everything and actually delivers on their food's taste and quality. Log Cabin does this. From Tex-Mex to steaks, seafood to BBQ, Log Cabin has something for everyone and its going to be freaking good. Their portions are huge, so you can always have leftovers, perfect for college students. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The Marketplace is cute and fun to browse while waiting for a table. I recommend Log Cabin to anyone whose passing through Ruston.

I order cheese fries but get charged for ranch when I do a to go order. Why? I don’t get charged in the restaurant! Way to take care of recurring customers!

Recently moved back to the Ruston area and after trying this place a few times its easily my fav place in town. Good to be back.
