Why are y'all even open with only one person here? Waited 2 minutes just to see someones here. 2:20 came in to grab a tea. In a hurry. Lady saw me but instead of coming to take my order she kept drinking her drink and doing something on her phone. Then she says she'll be right with me. Started making food. 2:34 she repeated she'll be right with me again. Continued to just keep making food. Thought of just coming in again after my fiance goes to the bathroom or after we charge the car but then I'd probably just restart the waiting process again. Just need a quick drink since we've been traveling nonstop. This is ridiculous. Feel like I should be getting paid for this wait now at this point. Just seeing how much time is being wasted now. 2:43 till I could the tea. Wanted light ice but she had it made handing it to me before she could even take the payment. Ended up getting a full cup of ice. Twenty three minutes to get a cup of tea with hardly any tea in in. How are y'all in business? Open teas with dusty light bulbs hanging over them.

No one at the counter when we walked in. Specifically asked for yellow mustard multiple times and still got the wrong mustard. Food was good aside from being made incorrectly. And not a lot of foot traffic at 4pm

It was 4:45 when we ordered and 15 minutes later we were told that they were out of chips for the nachos we ordered!! When we first walked up to the counter the one girl working the counter never spoke to us but continued to work on an order she was getting out to the window. Horrible service and unfriendly service!!! Burned bread on my club sandwich!!

Says they open at 10:30. I arrived at 10:45 and doors were locked. The staff sat there and stared at me so I doubt checked that they open at 10:30. The staff didn't even try to come over and unlock the door.

Not quite sure why the average score is not higher. Although I did notice only one person working the kitchen, considering the times at which I visited it seemed only one was needed. I'm sure ( or maybe I should say I assume) they have additional kitchen staff during peak hours.
My first visit was about 15 minutes before closing. Ran in and ordered salad with grilled chicken. Even so close to closing, the staff members were very nice. No sighs and sideways glances! Smiles. And my salad was perfect. It was a last minute decision, and I wasn't dressed the best, so after I ordered and paid I asked the cashier if I could go back to my car and use the pick up window. No problem! An employee even came to the window to ensure I actually asked for for a particular type of cheese. Needless to say, the order was accurate. Fresh greens. In fact a greens medley. Well-seasoned chicken. Cheese crumbles. Diced tomatoes and apple. Nutritious (yes, even after 9:00 pm.) Delicious!
The second trip was the next day right at opening. Yes, the salad was that good! Great service. Accurate order. Two days in a row! Was able to have an early lunch and get on with my day! Thanks Ruston McAlister's!
Oh, I have to admit. On that first trip I got a sugar cookie, also. And yes, it was good!

Food is good and prices are reasonable. Cash register staff Sunday acts like he would rather be somewhere else and that customers are interrupting his scrolling time. When paid did not comment so I commented “you’re welcome”. In response he brought me my food and literally threw down my plate at the table. I challenged he, his manager, the shift manager and the region manager for this behavior. Six or eight of us normally have lunch each Wednesday and many times at McAllister. We will pass on McAllister for the time being. Service is poor and music is loud. This location has always had personnel challenges.

This is by far the worst macalister I've ever been to... they never have spuds yet there on the menu, never have carrotcake yet it's on the menu, run out of sweet tea Constantly and know thats what half the town drinks.... it's just ridiculous and Monroe is double rustons size yet they always seem to have their crap together. I understand when u first open u got kinks to workout but we are well passed being first open. So it's been time for them to get their mess together. I'll just eat at Monroe's store as they know how to bake potatoes and make tea.
Great location, clean, nice staff, well prepared food

The wait time for a tea is unreal. Ridiculous really

The food was awful. I ordered 1/2 of a reuben sandwich and 1/2 of a spud with bacon and cheese. I was not able to eat the bread because it was hard and stale. The potato wasn't the least bit warm. I would not recommend this location to anyone. It certainly wasn't worth the money

By far the worst experience of any McAllister's I have ever eaten at. Service was slow, disorganized and inefficient. At one point, the only preparer of the food came out of the back and, not quite screaming, told everyone that she was locking the door and anyone who didn't want to wait could leave or if you did want to stay, it was going to take a long time. Food orders were wrong. They couldn't seem to read the receipt. We had to keep telling them what we ordered. Never again. Avoid, avoid.

They've been short staffed for seemingly forever and the service is always lacking. Not sure if it's a management issue or lack of support from further up but they are seriously in need to some changes.

Dear god almighty, never in my entire life have I seen such a group of mentally challenged people in one area. (Keep in my mind, I’ve seen the special Olympics on tv) it took 40 minutes for my club sandwich, i guarantee it would’ve taken more time had i not gone up and asked. The staff is rude and completely incompetent. Not only has this place failed all McAlisters, but I have completely lost faith in people. What a shame…
