Very small dining area, maybe 20 or so seats, not fancy. Friday lunch: had the Biftek Mexicana (or something like that), basically good plain fajitas. Very mildly seasoned, but of course there is a toppings bar with lots of good stuff, dress it like you want it. The sides of rice and beans were very good, but very mild. Free chips, and pick your own salsa from the bar, from mild but very flavorful to Very Hot. Bottled drinks only, they will bring you a glass of ice.

Authentic mexican food, handmade tortillas ??? hands down best mexican food in Ruston. El jarrito doesn't compare to their food. Tacos $1.50 Tamales $1. Can't beat their prices.

It was okay, I think we went on a really slow day. The beans were barely warm and they chip were chewy. Not bad overall, but to be the only customers there and still get cold food is a fail.

I got a pickup order today, and it was my first time to order from here. I ordered a quesadilla and a few extras to go with it. I thought, “surely a $4.99 quesadilla is an appetizer-sized portion, not a meal portion.” I was delighted to be proven wrong, as the house-made tortillas are as hearty and filling as they are flavorful. The Gordita is also excellent: crispy, savory, creamy, all at the same time. And the fried plantains were perfectly cooked. So surprised and happy to have two meals from this takeout order. Delicious food and a super friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend!!

One of my favorite local places to go and grab some street tacos or baleadas. They have AMAZING breakfast food as well! I have not been disappointed with anything that I’ve tried.
