Maybe we came on an off day but the food was just okay. I got a burger thinking it would be homemade but it seemed to have been a frozen premade patty, thin and no flavor. My daughter got a grilled chicken sandwich and it was rubbery with little flavor. Just not what we were expecting on our first visit. The waitress was nice, but extremely slow and never came to refill our drinks. Getting our food took about 30 minutes and there was not a crowd at all. She had 3 tables including ours when we got there around 10:45 and they were finished eating. Tables had not been cleaned off and cups were left from “quite the morning rush” as she stated she had had to anyone that came in. It was 11:30 when we left and tables were still dirty and no one cleaning them from the morning or early lunch. Maybe they were short handed. Not a big crowd at any point during our lunch.
Meh... Breakfast was very good, but it just took too long. They did warn us when we arrived that food would take 30 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes. I really like to get off the freeway and try the independent places, but this one disappointed me.
We picked up my dad from work and we came here for his lunch. The food wasn't bad, but the staff were just kinda slow. I guess they were short staffed or something, there was hardly any people there when we went. My dad had to be back at work at 12 and we got back at 12:25 so he was 25 minutes late. No big consequence, just is what it is. But the food was good, the girl that got our food and all was sweet, so they were just a little short handed is all. I love the old diner theme and the old jukebox they had in there. It was definitely neat, i hope to go back on a day when we're not in a hurry
I was looking for a breakfast spot on Monday, but all dine in restaurants were closed. I decided to look on Google and found this spot so I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did. The chicken and waffles were incredible—truly reminiscent of the famous Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles back home in California. The homemade ranch was a game-changer, adding the perfect touch to every bite. I also opted for pecans with my waffles, and paired it with a refreshing pineapple-orange mimosa—everything complemented each other beautifully. The service was spot-on, and they made sure everything I wanted was just right. Also don’t leave without trying the homemade breakfast fries it was so good. I’ll definitely be back for another round!
An excellent alternative to the interstate exit's monotonous options, and only a few minutes further. Fresh food, generous portions, robust coffee, & appealing, convivial service. Highly recommended.
Wish I could give this place 10 stars! This is some of the BEST breakfast I've had in a long time! It's really home style and simply delicious. The omelets are perfect! The pancakes are SO FLUFFY and reminded me so much of my grandmother's! The BLT is absolutely perfect! Just the right amount of everything! Kelsey the cook is the absolute BEST and such a gem too! And Ian the owner is always jolly and quick with a smile and a joke! Please come check out this place! They deserve all the LOVE!!!
Shout out to Kelsey for the best BLT I've ever had the pleasure of consuming! The food was amazing, the weekday small town diner vibes were on point, and the staff was so friendly!
In from out of town and I wanted to hit the local spots. Came in for lunch. It was clean and cute and Asia was an absolute rock star of a server. Kind, funny, attentive, and on top of getting all of my annoyingly specific requests correct and in a timely manner, even with a bunch of other customers she was tending to.
The menu item I ordered (Train Wreck) was surprisingly delicious. I knew it would be good, but the interesting combination of items actually worked a lot more cohesively than I expected. It even reheated very well, which is rare for a dish with French fries. Looking forward to trying their other fare.
Will definitely come back anytime I'm in town. 9.9/10 (because there's always room for improvement 😂)
Amazing food, great vibe, AND great service! I always enjoy eating here.
Very friendly and attentive staff, and perfect choice if you're looking for a good breakfast or lunch that isn't a chain.
