Meh... Breakfast was very good, but it just took too long. They did warn us when we arrived that food would take 30 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes. I really like to get off the freeway and try the independent places, but this one disappointed me.
We picked up my dad from work and we came here for his lunch. The food wasn't bad, but the staff were just kinda slow. I guess they were short staffed or something, there was hardly any people there when we went. My dad had to be back at work at 12 and we got back at 12:25 so he was 25 minutes late. No big consequence, just is what it is. But the food was good, the girl that got our food and all was sweet, so they were just a little short handed is all. I love the old diner...
I was looking for a breakfast spot on Monday, but all dine in restaurants were closed. I decided to look on Google and found this spot so I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did. The chicken and waffles were incredible—truly reminiscent of the famous Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles back home in California.
