food was great and our server was great, but not super sure why she was getting yelled at and belittled by another staff member in the kitchen. it was super awkward and disheartening because she was just trying to do her job, and the old white lady making waffles was yelling her name and being rude to her to the point she was crying at the end of our meal.
Look yall, I’ve been Waffle Housing since the 80’s. I was a little worried when I walked in and everything was clean and all the employees were nice and actually happy to see us. From my experience, a great breakfast can only be cooked by a person who hates their job, but these folks here in Ruston are a different breed! Went a little earlier than usual and was rewarded with a choice of tables (to avoid the freezing A/C) and very quick and friendly service. Could never empty my coffee cup before being refilled. A great way to start a Saturday morning.
