El Mejor Mexican bar and grill

went there for my 24th birthday in hopes to have at least a good time after working all day and we got there probably around 730ish and they close at 9 btw! and wanted margs obviously. the server was great that wasn't the issue. the issue was that we had just recently placed our order around like maybe 815 and before our food came out there's servers all around us putting the chairs up on top the tables.. mind you it's not even 815 bc they started doing that a lil before we placed our order. anyways i have worked in the service industry and you don't put chairs on the tables ALL AROUND paying customers. we WONT go back especially if i have anything to do with it. my boyfriend asked if they could sing to me (way before we ordered) and nothing was done. honestly ruined my whole birthday and i literally bought a new car today? management gets an absolute ZERO from me. if you want chairs on the tables you make your closers put the chairs on the tables. not your FIRST cuts. pissed honestly bc check was $131?????? ridiculous

Our waiter was very nice and attentive.
The ground meat is well-seasoned!
I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch of a taco and enchilada.

El Mejor is a Mexican restaurant about five minutes outside of Saint Francisville, Louisiana. Driven by it several times wanted to try it and finally did tonight. The food was amazing!!! I had chicken and steak fajitas and my date had steak fajitas. The steak was so tender and full of flavor. The margaritas were really good as well. If you find yourself in this neck of woods, I definitely recommend stopping by.
