“Immediately as we walked in we were greeted with smiles and Southern hospitality. Sit anywhere inside or on the patio. I ordered half a Spicy Shrimp Po Boy and half a French Dip Although both were good the French Dip was absolutely amazing along with the alligator bites!!! My only complaint was that they weren't open later so I could go back in the evening to get another French Dip.”

“Went here during lunch, just after 11. On Google maps, it is notated as a breakfast restaurant. But noticed on the menu they stop serving breakfast at 11 or until they run out.
So, I was real disappointed and ended up ordering a cheeseburger. I read reviews that pricing was reasonable, but it was $13 for a burger with small bag of chips, which for me is expensive.
But, WOW!!! The burger was great, especially the bread. WOW, WOW, WOW! I am so happy I stopped!”
“Great atmosphere, great bartenders beautiful view of Bayou Sara and always a good time. And where else will you see a priest and a man dressed as a nun for Halloween?”

“The best burger in the whole town is right here at the Myrtles Plantation - The Carriage House! The restaurant is nice and a lil ghostly encounter is always a slight possibility. Additionally, the villas are designed for a special get away weekend. You will love it!”

“We stayed at The Myrtles and were able to enjoy eating at Elta Coffee every morning. The crew working here were excellent the food was always delicious and the coffee was a great start to our mornings. Inside the coffee shop there are plenty of room to sit and enjoy your food and drink, but if you want you can always enjoy your meal in the courtyard of the property.
Parking: There is plenty of parking spaces here and you also have a nice drive up an oak and azalea lined drive.
Kid-friendliness: There is plenty of room here for kids to see and near the parking lot there are two bocci ball courts that we enjoyed when we visited.”
