South of the Border Reviews
We dined at South of the Border for the first time today & will certainly go back. The food & service were very good with a comfortable atmosphere.

South of the Border (SOTB) is a restaurant located on the Louisiana/Mississippi border, known for its southern comfort food and top-notch service. Despite its name, there is no Mexican food on the menu. The restaurant has changed ownership a few times, but the quality of the food remains consistent.
SOTB is worth the drive, offering dishes that are reminiscent of homemade meals. Popular dishes include the hamburger steak, smothered in gravy, mushrooms, and onions, and the large and unique border burger, topped with Swiss and cheddar cheese, and served with a side of sweet potato fries. The restaurant also offers a salad bar with homemade ranch dressing.
Overall, SOTB is a great spot for a satisfying meal with excellent service, and a trip to the restaurant is a delicious way to experience some Southern hospitality.
