“If u like a small town country environment then D'z was great. iTunes jukebox to pick ur own music from, plenty tvs to watch the games on, and the Bartender was great! A couple pool tables, a dart board, a few video poker machines, and a dance floor for entertainment!”
“Nice place if your just parking for work or passing through. No working bathrooms/showers. Surrounded by water and decently priced. Dollar general only about 2 minutes away and a Walmart about 15.”
“A sophisticated cottage vibe with seriously elegant and delicious food. While traveling home from a work trip we decided to visit the famous Mrytles plantation and decided to get some brunch from the restaurant there. What an unexpected treat. The atmosphere was that of a small cottage with the wood and open hearth in which they prepare many of their dishes. The service was excellent. The mimosas were truly bottomless with the glass never emptying due to the prompt service. The food was as exquisite as any restaurant I have ever been too. Everything we had was a flavor explosion that would be extremely hard to find a complaint for. A place you must try, and we are excited to return to.”
“I went to the wellness bar and had the watermelon juice. The juice was 100% authentic. It was cold and refreshing and just what I needed after a hard workout. The price wasn’t bad as well.”
“Great atmosphere the staff is super friendly and the food is great the chef/owner personally comes out to check on the guests and asks how things are great restaurant !”
“This place gives you the home feel.Dietary restrictions: I'm on keto right now and they have a half chicken that is amazing. The barbecue sauce I can taste a little bit of sweetness in it but I don't think it's enough to matter.”
“Went for deer processing and we had a great and easy experience. First of all I cannot express how friendly the staff is here. Peanut and his spouse Gabby were great to deal with. We explained being we have very young children (baby & toddler) we did not want the ground meat and sausage too spicy and they fulfilled. Most places when you say “not too spicy/hot” it is still way too hot for children. The best item/family favorite that I intended to write about are the burritos he made for us. Wow these were hands down delicious and up to par with any nice Mexican restaurant burritos you could get. We enjoyed them so much we wish we had ordered more. Now we know what and where we will be going for our deer processing ! Thank you so much.”
“Great option in Saint Francisville. The terrace is very pleasant, the dishes are good and above all the prices are very reasonable. The service was attentive. RAS. I recommend for dinner or lunch”
“The food was absolutely top notch. Fried Shrimp was a mouthful, and they gave you too much to eat! The wait staff was very friendly and acted like they knew us. Prices were great too. I highly recommend this restaurant for all family members.Kid-friendliness: Family oriented restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Available”
“We have used The Crawfish Hole to cater several events for our company and every time they knock it out the park! Our employees and clients are always asking, “who made this?” “Who catered this? Everything tastes amazing!” Owners Tyler and Jarred Murphy couldn’t be more gifted! 100% recommend! You need them for your next corporate or family event!”
“Angelia is one of the friendliest and caring people I have met. The food is delicious and served with love! I definitely recommend you stopping by on a weekday to get lunch. You will not be disappointed.”
“My wife hired the Boiling Branch to cater a rehearsal supper, and we were well pleased. They delivered on time and were extremely helpful in serving up the crawfish. The crawfish had a very good flavor. The price was reasonable, and we would definitely consider going back with them for any future events.”
“This is a small place & it's not fast, but it is delicious and authentic! I enjoyed my gorditas & my husband got the whole fried tilapia. Check out my photos.”
“I never do this but if you're looking to try Greek or Lebanese food for the first time or if you love it already and need a different place to try, my husband and I HIGHLY recommend Cafe Petra. I would actually give a 10/10 ! Husband had the Gyro sandwich plate and omg. Full of perfectly cooked gyro meat and grecian sauce. And the french fries were amazing. I had the Petra sandwich and goodness, it was to die for? I just needed a bowl of the petra sauce to come home with lol. We shared an appetizer of the original hummus and it was delicious. Friendly atmosphere and our server was phenomenal. Young man, I would say late teens-early 20s was very knowledgeable, well-spoken, and practically the most perfect young server. And prices were not bad at all, especially considering how much food you get. We will definitely be going back?”
“Cool place in a small town. We were in town to visit hot tails. Went for a walk through town and stopped by false river to sit by the water. Stopped here afterwards for a drink. Tons of drinks on the ready. The lady was pretty friendly and the service was fast since we were the only ones there. No complaints. Will probably be by again next time we are there.”
“Best crawfish, and they are always consistent with the seasoning on them. Great place, my husband and I come here and always amazing. They run specials on their crawfish a good but.”
“The service was amazing. Our waitress was awesome and we were very needy because it was a table of 5. I got the nachos and I got ground beef and my nachos were kind of overcooked so that's why I gave the food four stars. Other than that it was a great experience. (:Vegetarian options: They had a lettuce taco. (:”
“My home town. Awesome food & great customer service. the best soul food in the world. I go every time I visit., to get my Pork Chop box and Chicken sandwich. Love Mrs. Banks and FamilyKid-friendliness: safe placeParking: available parking”
“First time there today, and I ordered the turtle soup and porterhouse porkchop. The soup was extraordinary, and the sweet potatoe casserole was excellent as well. The pork chop was cooked perfectly, well presented, very thick and juicy, but lacked seasoning. The ribeye my coworker got looked freaking amazing. He said it tasted that way too. The restaurant was really clean and cozy and the servers were very polite and attentive. My only complaint was the food took a long time to come out and there weren't a lot of people there during our lunch. Arrived at noon and I left at 1:30pm. Besides that, I really look forward to going back to trying some other things.”
“Tried out the taqueria today. Clean store and 6 booths to sit at. Street tacos plain are $2.75 each for corn or flour. We also got a real bottle Coke for $3. Just remember they don't open until 9:30am.”
“First time customer of The Boiling Branch this weekend. We didn't find a single dead crawfish in two sacks. Crawfish were significantly larger than what we purchased last weekend. They did cost a little extra over the chain grocery stores but after factoring in quality , dead crawfish, and customer service I fell like I came out ahead.”
“This place is good! It just barely opened up and I'm sure they can use some help for any and all areas. Y'all check it out.Parking: A lot of room and plenty to park at.Wheelchair accessibility: Pick a spot and take your time going in.”
“I finished this meal five minutes ago and let me tell you, this is the best cheeseburger on False River. Hands down. One of the best burgers I’ve had around the Baton Rouge area as well. The home made praline is one of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re reading this, go try it. You won’t be disappointed.”
“I have over 30 years of patronizing this business and I will continue to as long as they're open for business. I love the food, I've had several items from the menu and have always been satisfied. They serve a homemade burger called the Bengal Burger and it is SO GOOD, all of the food is ❤️ Phone orders taken, grest customer service and a comfortable dine-in are available. Highly recommended!”
“Que Pasa has a different take on fajitas. The fajitas are similar to most places in the setup, however the meats are cut in thin strips and are full of flavor. Really enjoyable place with great service.”
“Best fried livers I've had in a long long time...good onion rings as well...The chicken looked very good but I had to try the livers and did not regret that ”
“Got the shrimp poboy dinner the bread was soft and fresh and the shrimp were perfectly cooked super reasonable prices absolutely a must go to for me anytime I'm back down here working.”
“Don’t miss your chance at Southern heaven. The food was fantastic. There’s coffee and coffee cups available to courier on while waiting. And ridiculously low prices.”
“The best Lo Mein I've ever had. I won't even eat Lo Mein at any other restaurant anymore because it never comes close to being as good as City Cafe. I can honestly say that anything I've ever eaten here is delicious and trust me I've tried just about everything on the menu. Not to mention the fact that the owners are so nice and the prices are very reasonable.”
“I stop here all the time. There's not too many stores around... But luckily Waterloo aleays has what I need. Everything from a soda and a bag of chips to motor oil and lotto tickets. They also sell tobacco products and alcohol. They even have a small selection of fresh made sandwiches. There is a small car wash in the parking lot and a small daquiri shop.”
