“They had a special menu advertised for Mother's Day. However, for such a special occasion, they did not plan for staff/server absences. Many tables were not being used on the patio area, because they were short of servers. This was poor planning. To take your Mother or anyone for such an occasion and endure a 3+ hour wait is unacceptable.”

“Been eating at Ma Mama’s for past 4 years multiple times per month, mostly lunch time. I have never had a bad dish and have tried the whole menu. I have traveled the world and eaten at some amazing restaurants, Ma Mama’s is my favorite for Louisiana cooking in the Baton Rouge area. Service can be slower at times, but never experienced rudeness. I enjoy the occasional new item on the menu to try new tastes. I will continue to enjoy a wonderful dining experience at Ma Mama’s.”

“So I had to come here to say… I just had the best lunch! I kept hearing people talk about “Big Boys” is now serving BBQ. So I decided to try it. I ordered the “Ginnie Sandwich.” It had sausage, pulled pork, and brisket… It was huge, and soooo good! Every bite was amazing!!! It’s a must try! Hands Down Granddaughter had the chocolate Cake for Desert , She ate some there took some home ate some when we got home and I still have 1/2 a slice left over I had the crab cakes they were Delicious”

“The oyster bar on the banks of Bayou Sarah, near the Mississippi River just outside the town of St. Francisville is one of my favorite places to socialize and have a drink, or food. The food varies between food trucks or different dishes prepared by the bar. The staff is wonderful and prices aren't outside the usual for the area. They have a wonderful outdoor patio overlooking Bayou Sarah. They normally have live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Wednesday they normally do bingo which always has a good turn out! They also babe a pool table inside.”
