Elta provides exceptional customer service and the coffee is always delicious. My family also loves the waffles for breakfast and cake balls for dessert. Elta is a daily stop that gets our day started just right!

This place still hasn't a clue about customer service. They're rude and indignant every time I come in. The manager is clueless. I have been told they would have whole bean coffee for sale yet everytime I have come in I am told they are not allowed to sell it. They started out carrying whole bean bags for sale on the shelf. The manager tells a different story on the phone than the employees. Get it together Elta. You have far greater potential but it is falling flat for now.

Delicious red eye and salted carmel cookie.I was just passing through the area, and this place came up on the map when I wanted coffee. It's part of The Myrtles, an old plantation cum hotel/restaurant (with gift shop and coffee place). I'm not one for plantation tourism or ghost tours, but the coffee was genuinely very good.Side note: If you're going to go, be careful on the driveway. It's a bit narrow, and people aren't careful.

We really enjoyed Elta Coffee while staying at The Myrtles recently. We were able to choose a breakfast item off the menu as part of our stay. I had the bowl with pimento cheese grits, bacon & egg & the egg, bacon & pimento cheese sandwich on ciabatta bread. Both delicious. Also we had the NOLA Iced Coffee: Shaken Chicory cold-brew, half and half, vanilla flavoring. I subbed for oatmilk. My favorite was a vanilla iced latte. Really sweet little area to have your meal inside the gift shop of The Myrtles or you can sit outside. Just a great atmosphere. We enjoyed Elta while staying at The Myrtles, but it is open to the public! Oh & you must try the Affogato!!!!!!! To die for!!!!!!!! Oops, maybe I should not say that. After all the place is haunted!!!!!!! Joking aside, the specialty coffees & the Affogato are great pick me ups in this heat. Enjoy!

The coffee here is absolutely delicious, and the staff is incredibly kind. I ordered an iced white-chocolate mocha with an extra shot of espresso and it is one of the best mochas I have ever had! The muffins are also very good, especially the mountain berry one! I will definitely be going there again to get my new favorite drink!
This is meant to be constructive feedback as they just opened. I did give this place 3 chances before leaving a review. The baristas need some more instruction on how to pull an espresso shot. It was terribly bitter so it would seem it was run too long. The milk also was burned and the water was set too hot. There are no mugs or dishware for use dining in which is unnecessarily wasteful. Of course the paper cup taints the taste of the coffee anyway. Breakfast stopping at 10 seems an extremely odd choice. On one occasion no one greeted me, and the barista was particularly unwelcoming. I hope they start to get this right eventually. On a positive note, Reve coffee is a stellar choice.
