When in LA..... do as the locals do! Anyone from this area knows that gas station food is some of the BEST FOOD! If you're a true LA native you just said..... "truth". This spot lives up to that reputation. We stopped in our our way through town to Monroe and decided to get a few poboys and a box of fried catfish for dinner. Our family had full bellies and the best reminders of childhood memories past! We did wait a little bit, however the fried shrimp and catfish was incredibly fresh and worth every second of waiting. If what your looking for is not on the menu just ask.... Hamburgers, deer sausage, deer jerky, smoked sausage.... Just ask! Thanks y'all! Keep up the fantastic hospitality

The fish was split as small pieces, and didn't ask if I wanted it spicy because it was not a spicy eater!!!

When you walk in, the stench of grease is overwhelming and sticks with you. The menu is very limited and the printed menu is way out of date. We had to try several choices on the menu before we found something they actually had. The service was slow and slovenly. The place was not clean or at all attractive. The food was mediocre at best. Trying to pay after eating involved bouncing back and forth among three different counters. When I got home a few hours later, my clothes still reeked of grease.
