The Saint Restaurant and Bar

Drove from Baton Rouge to eat here and it was a really good experience. Our server was great, she was laid back and friendly which I appreciated a lot. The dining rooms and exterior were stunning. It’s a really beautiful place. The food was great too. Unfortunately for my wallet though, eating here made my girlfriend want to stay at the inn.

Beautiful rooms with excellent attentive service. Unfortunately it was rather crowded and loud in each room which made it hard to hear the others at my table. However the lamb appetizer and veal dish more than made up for that, and it was a delightful delicious dinner.

We just had our first visit to The Saint and it was absolutely wonderful! The food was amazing. The service was wonderful. And the ambiance is straight out of the pages of a Eudora Welty story. All of the charm of the south with the quality of a high-end meal and a perfectly paired wine. We will absolutely be back!

Everything about this restaurant is perfect. From their staff to their food. The service is excellent and the hospitality is out of this world. They were a constant for us during the biggest event of our lives and we cannot thank them enough. Larry went above and beyond for us and he became more of a friend than just someone helping us. They created special menus with our names on it, accommodated us from day one with clear communication and never once was hesitant to help us make this the best day ever! We are forever blessed to say we will be back for the rest of our lives. This is not just a place to stay, it’s a place to call a blessing!

This was a Top Notch experience! Much needed getaway. Drinks Food Spa were exceptional. Jim gave us good advice to shop in town and my husband said “thanks” . The sweetest Southern folks you will meet. Planning my next Relaxing stay.

Never had a bad meal or experience at The Saint. Highly recommend it.

I dined here three times and always have had great service and great food. The Saint is a very unique and elegant restaurant and one of a kind.

I reviewed menus of several different restaurants for my birthday and saw dishes both my wife and I would really like so I made reservations We were both disappointed when the waitress brought us a menu that was different than what is on their website We showed her the link and she informed the manager who had no excuse It’s unfortunate that they post dishes to get you in there then change it We both had a salad and bread and each 1 small crab cake total $126.00 We also heard people sitting next to us complaining about how small their $52 steak was Shame they are not like they use to be

Beautiful dining room and excellent food. My only less than stellar note is that our server Shaya kind of griped about us ordering desert to the kitchen. I overheard and it just soured the note to what was a fun and special dinner.
I understand that we were the last customers in the restaurant. I tipped generously. And I even asked to take the dessert to go. It’s unfortunate that an amateur and unnecessary comment had to be made to make us feel unwelcome. We avoided the restaurant the next morning for breakfast as a result even though breakfast was included in our stay. 🙁

This is truly a delightful experience. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the inn is decorated to perfection, the service is professional and engaging. To top it all of the NEW chef is second to none. I have literally eaten all over the world in high class places and sidewalk cafes. Chef Hernandez this past Saturday “ hung the moon”.
My date and I had the following: watermelon salad with feta, olive oil and vinaigrette; crab cake( best in the world); deviled crabs- just awesome and very creative loaded with crab meat; turtle soup; pecan encrusted gulf fish( beautifully done); smothered chicken covered in mushrooms and a sauce. Topped it all off with bread pudding and washed it down with a 2019 Silver Oak Cabernet.
Best all around meal I’ve ever had. I will go back!!
