“Look I'll be the first to admit I really wasn't that familiar with many of the restaurants in the New Iberia area. But after working here for a week I am thoroughly impressed by the food and the restaurant owners and workers. I want to thank the young lady working the register at Moore's today she was exceptional. I ordered the crawfish etouffee which came with fried fish, white rice, green beans and potato salad. I really have no complaints about this meal it was really good and the amount of food received is what one would expect. This is definitely a hole in the wall. But a hole in the wall with a bunch of really nice people coming in and out ordering food to go. I had great conversation with other customers who were also waiting for their food. Most definitely a go to place whenever I come back in the area.“
“Nice local place to ketch a bite for lunch. I tried the classic rock star buger and it was delicious. It cost just about the same as any fast food places for home made better food. Even tho I got food to go, the dining area looked like a nice quiet place to have a lunch date . I will definitely be back to try more of their menu and specials.“
“All things being equal, Anointed Soul hits the nail on the head. This little place puts out some of the best food in town. Their daily specials are downright special with most entrëes coming with one or two scoops of a great rice stuffing. My wife loves it so much she gets more as her chosen sides.Give these people a chance. It's likely you'll be glad you did. For soul food in New Iberia, this is hands down the "anointed" one.“
“If I could give this place 10/5 stars I would. Jeaux's was my first real soul food experience. And I was NOT disappointed! It's no wonder this place sells out so quickly. The food is absolutely delicious and unlike anything I've ever tasted. I'm convinced I won't find another place like Jeauxs!“
