I love Don's. I travel through Louisiana quite a bit, and I always stop through Scott. I love their seafood balls, boudin balls, pork chops, chicken etc. They also have a great selection of freezer items and souvenirs which I like to take back home. Their service is always amazing too.

The atmosphere and customer service was fantastic, everyone was friendly and very accommodating. However when it came to the food, that was not so great. The bouidan balls and house made sausage was good, but we bought bouidan and bouidan Nachos. The nacho chips were stale, they used out of the can cheese spread that was not only tasteless but drowned the stale chips and made the sprinkle of bouidan rice taste non-existent. The bouidan was individually wrapped and labeled that was great, I ordered the crawfish bouidan and the taste was not there and the consistency was smushy, like eating baby food. It smelled not good at all. I bought $60 worth of food and I threw away about $45 worth of food because the bouidan itself was like $8.49 per lb and there were 3 of us, so I bought 2 lb per person and the nachos were about $7. I will not be back.

The food here used to be good. Now it's just "meh". We used to drive for hours to buy boudin here, but won't be back. Not to mention the crappy service by the rude staff made it all taste just that much worse. Save your money and go elsewhere.
