Stopped in on our way through to get our son so.e boudin and cracklin! Attendants were very nice, store was very clean. Cannot comment on the food, did not eat, but it was crowded so apparently a lot of people like it!
OMG! Their gravy & rice WAS AMAZING! They were out of their lunch plates, but the gal GAVE (FOR FREE) me a nice portion of gravy & rice! BEST I've EVER tasted! Their cracklins. NOT SO GOOD! Spent $11 (1/2 lb), they were so hard & had very little flavor...had to just throw them away.?

I stopped specifically for the pork cracklins. While the flavor was good, not overly spiced, they were fried extra hard, to the point I thought they would break my teeth.
I'm definitely going to give them another chance, hoping this was an unusual occurrence. I also want to try the chicken cracklins.
