“This was my first time dining here. I had the Mixed Platter, it was delicious. The brisket was so tender, and the ribs were delish but had almost no meat on them. The green beans were definitely a hit. I always go to the other barbecue place close by and I was just wanting to try something new. I will definitely take my son in there to have some brisket.“

I've had my new phone number since August 2024 and it's still listed on Google as being the Uptown Bar and Lounge's number. Can someone please help me or tell me how to fix this issue?“

I have met some truly great people and it makes a lasting impression when the bartenders don't pressure customers to play music if they don't want and when the bartender is not getting drunk with customers while working. I like his place and the staff and most of the other customers.“

“The first thing I noticed was the shop was spotless. We came from another city and needed to use the restroom which were perfectly clean. They smelled good, was stocked, and comfortable. The staff tend to the building and for them to as busy as they are they do a wonderful job! The drinks are fantastic of course and a great price as well.“

“OMG!! Wednesdays are 2 -4-1 all day. (Up to a Large size) They are capable of mixing their standard frozen mixes with added alcohol. My favorites are
Strawberry Cream and Toasted Almond daiquiris.
Strawberry Cream (white Russian mixed with Strawberry daiquiri)
Toasted Almond ( White Russian mixed with Ameretto)

Allure is basically the second floor of the Celebrity Lounge, that is only accessible by the second floor of the casino.You remember the club in the Netflix show 'Luke Cage', how all the villains like to stand on the balcony and look out at the dancefloor? This is that -with couches, booze and hookahs.Every night is a different style of live music downstairs in the Celebrity Lounge downstairs - you can get a good show by watching from Allure Ultra Lounge.“

“Small place with an easy feel about it in downtown Shreveport. Easy walking distance to several other places for people wanting to roam around. Pretty good selection of popular beer include a couple of Abita beer options. Obviously they also carry your mainstream non local options as well. Not a bad place to have a drink and a conversation without having to scream to hear yourself talk or hear the other person talk. Would recommend it to someone looking to grab a quick drink. Did not have any food so can't speak to it.“

“I’ve been to 4 countries and 36 states, and I can confidently say, this place serves the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my entire life. The food is authentic Cajun cuisine and the service is outstanding. If I lived in Shreveport I’d come here everyday.

“We did not get any food so I cannot speak to it. It is a pool hall with a couple of poker machines. It is very large and open with a very high ceiling so you don't feel cramped at all. Hightop tables are spread out well enough that you can have a conversation without being completely involved in the next table's conversation, but close enough to say hello if you wanted to. They do have some draft beers and a decent selection of bottles. Typucal regular bar looking options on liquor, but didn't notice any specialty drinks other than the shot servers walking around. Kind of loud, but as is expected. Easy walk to other places in downtown Shreveport. It's not overly impressive, but zero complaints and the staff was friendly and quick on getting drinks poured.“

“Georgina is amazing! She made a long night seem so short. We had a three hour delay and she ensured we were well taken care of during our stay at Tailwind. I noticed the signs with employees of the month and I didn’t see Georgina’s name. I would love to nominate her because she truly made my time at the airport, with the consistent delays, more enjoyable!“

“One of my favorite burgers in Shreveport! We usually go on Tuesday and get them to go, but this time we went in, and it was awesome! I think the bar area is better than the dining area as far as ambiance goes, but it was also super empty when we came because of the weather, so I think if it was full I wouldn’t be as hard on the dining room. Our server Jacob was super friendly, we’ve met him in the drive through before and he is always great! He pointed out the desserts to me tonight and I got a banana pudding with bruleed bananas, it was top notch! For my appetizer I had the deviled eggs, and they were pretty good, not my style but worth the $8. I can’t wait to come back and compare their jäger schnitzel or chicken Parm to mine. “My husband and I came by yesterday. He ordered a frozen Crown and Coke and I had the King Cake daquari. The King Cake daquari is where it's at! It was like dessert in a cup, you can't even taste the alcohol, but you can feel it! The lady at the drive through window was so personable and bubbly. The drive through experience left me knowing we will be back soon to visit inside and stay a while.“
