was there with a group (6 of us) basic order 1 turkey "samich", 1 sliced brisket poboy,2 different orders of sliced brisket samiches, 1 turkey poboy..waiter was great but as is the case these days he was slammed because of lack of help. The common complaint was the bread. Exception was the jalapeno/cheddar bun(very good). The samich buns were very dry. The food was good at times. The breaded mushrooms were fantastic. The red beans and rice were spicy/salty. The fried okra was bland and had no flavor. The breaded okra just didn't taste right. Perhaps use the batter from the mushrooms. That would be better. The pulled pork was dry, not moist like some other bbq places I been to. The ribs were overcooked, and meat was burnt.
