Unfortunately, Big D fell off hard. My Ribs were mediocre and my potato salad and beans tasted rancid. The brisket was passanle but there wasn't much for what was essentially a $20 dinner with 2 inedible portions. Really sucks because I loved this place, but I may have to look elsewhere

I went about 2 months ago got red beans rice & pork steak was craving bbq it DID look good but as I inspect the food the meat seemed recooked with old sauce on it , my red beans had bugs in it I wasn’t going to leave a review but im still mad about spending 18$ for something I didn’t eat , the only thing eatable was the bread but I didn’t eat that either the inside of the place looked SOOO unsafe i pray this man gets help to save his business

The health department needs to shut this place down. This is not a bbq restaurant. Health food standards are not up-to-date. Avoid stopping here. The old man lives inside the building and is smoking something.... don't waste waste your money here. Didn't order anything due to the code violations this place is seeking.

I'm a truck driver so I drove past once and said I'll stop omw back. Wasn't able too. Just passed by again 04/11/2023 and it was well worth finding somewhere to park my truck and trailer. I ordered the chopped beef and man seasoned to perfection.... cooked to perfection and that sauce was great.. if you like that old school bbq feel and taste this is the spot.... Black owned and black excellence.. I'll be back Thursday lol

Mane I wouldn’t eat nothing out of this place,the inside is very nasty and the food omg he need to be shut down.I ordered chitterlings,yams& greens..yams was Burnt lol chitterlings was over cooked and the greens was spoiled smh.. I asked for my money back and he gave it back with no problem I wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog!!!

Save yourself!!!! Do not eat here. I opened my to-go plate and immediately threw the whole plate away for the same reasons that everyone else did. I love supporting people but the health department should definitely shut this place down for everyone’s sake.

I’m just passing through and what made me stop was the grill it was smoking.I had a taste for some beef ribtips!!!! I don’t know what they gave me. This place is a set up from hell!!! Dont EAT HERE! These people basically stole $24 from me

This is absolutely the worst barbecue I’ve ever had. Wasn’t worth eating! Save your money and the risk of getting food poison. What barbecue joint have you ever been to that is selling barbecue but there’s no grill rolling smoke out of it. That should have been the first clue to get the hell out of there. We ended up feeding our food to the stray cats outside. I give this place 1 star because you can’t give zero stars and leave a review.
