The food here was well seasoned with great portions for your money. The drinks as well as the food had great presentation. The owner is very nice along with his staff. I highly recommend this place for a date night because you are definitely going to enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere.

Drive by the restaurant quite a bit... Finally stopped in to see what it was all about. We were definitely impressed! Great food, atmosphere, and service. After only one visit El Mono has easily become a top 5 favorite for the area.

Loved this place last time, but tried the buffet and it was great at first... but not refilled at all for long periods of time and then only with tiny amounts of food. Hope it was just a bad day... menu item and free chips were still great.

I had never had Peruvian food before we came here, so I had no idea what to expect, but it was phenomenal. We got the ceviche to start and it was so light and citrusy, but also had these crunchy beans that really made it memorable. We got there late (like 8:30) so they were sold out of a couple things that we really wanted, but it was still delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Great food and great service! Lunch time they have a buffet which allows you to try several dishes for one low price. On the most recent trip had the priviledge to meet the owner and he shared the story of the restaurant and of the Peruvian culture. We will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone wanting a laid back unique atmosphere to explore another culture's cuisine.

This is one of our favorite places to eat, and even our kids enjoy it. My favorite dish is the arroz tapado (hopefully I'm spelling that right). But everything here is delicious. I especially love the passion fruit juice drink. The name escapes me right now. Everyone here is always friendly. It's like going to a small town restaurant where people care, but the food is better. We travel a lot and if we were on vacation here, this would be one of the restaurants we just had to stop at each visit.

Great restaurant! Amazing unique dishes, even my picky eater (my child) lovvvved the dish with rice, fries, and sauce! Love the darker homier atmosphere- very soothing. Family owned and run. Great personable people. Please add even more to the buffet that's all I'd suggest! Will be repeat customers!
