Menu is fantastic, Jackson was and is an incredible server.
I would recommend the pork belly, the Caddo canoe, and the 8oz.
Thanks for the stellar birthday dinner ❤️

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at Heron in Shreveport. We ordered the Pappardelle fresh pasta with Akaushi beef cheek, sugo, and black truffle ricotta and it was outstanding. The flavors were rich, balanced, and beautifully presented.
Our waitress, Heather, provided excellent service throughout the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better.
The atmosphere was warm and refined, perfect for a perfect night out with our friends visiting from out of town We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Heron to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Shreveport.

My friend and I were interested in trying Heron. 🤩 We were out for girls drinks. 🍹 When we first walked in we weren't sure this would be our vibe..we were wrong. 😮 Hannah greeted us right away and was amazing. 🥰 She made me my first Cosmo and chatted with us as I swayed to the songs by Ardie Bee on the piano. 🎹 We will definitely visit again. 💯

We did the Valentine's couples special. It was $115 per person for a set menu. The portion sizes were so unbelievably small it was a massive rip-off.
The appetizer was lobster bisque in a shot glass, one small seafood tart the size of my pinky and a small Caesar salad. Even our waiter was saying how crazy it was that the lobster bisque was only a shot glass portion.
The main course was 2 shrimp and 2 small pieces of fish, rice and carrots per person.
The dessert was a shared cup of melted chocolate, which was the only thing I would consider correctly portion for 2.
For grand total of $280 after tip and tax, not happy at all and we left hungry. Guest at a neighboring table was also complaining about the small portion sizes.
Amazing ambiance. Chef Blake & staff have curated a timeless place to land on a hot summer evening. Best restaurant in Shreveport.

Herons is a true gem in Shreveport’s fine dining scene. We started with the Sweet Sicilian mocktail—refreshing and flavorful with blood orange, ginseng, and nonalcoholic Prosecco. I enjoyed it so much, I ordered a second.
The Caesar salad with eggplant croutons was a unique and delicious twist on the classic. Shrimp and grits came with a bold tomato-based sauce and creamy grits that melted in your mouth. The steak and whipped ricotta potatoes were packed with flavor, especially with the savory compound butter on top.
For dessert, the Arancini rice pudding ball with candied pistachios was phenomenal—crispy, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet.
Highly recommend Herons for anyone seeking an elevated dining experience in Shreveport.

I’ve eaten here a few times, all fantastic, but the buffet on Mother’s Day was just next level. Absolutely everything was delicious and the service was impeccable.

We had a wonderful dinner last night at Heron with the octopus and Bahn Mi appetizers. For entrees, we had the gnochhilaya and blue corn lobster crab cakes. A fabulous blend of flavors. The bartender even made a great watermelon mojito mocktail. Heather was great, and I am glad we went with her suggestions. We will be back soon!
