It is the perfect place for a celebration. We take our 2 brothers who live in Shreveport there for special occasions. The food is always interesting and delicious...like quail and seafood. Their menu varies over time and is always a special treat. The service is very warm and welcoming...the atmosphere in an old home is like a celebration at home. I highly recommend Mabry House.
Dining at The Mabry House is like stepping into another era—an elegant Victorian home filled with charm, warmth, and a quiet kind of luxury. The atmosphere is as carefully curated as the menu, offering a unique blend of comfort and sophistication. The food? Simply exceptional. Went here for my mom’s birthday last night (it’s her and my stepdad favorite restaurant) and had a great meal, experience, and service. Daniel, our server, was professional, personable, and had great recs. Food was had a nice Louisiana twist to it. And the place itself was an in old Victorian home, a southern venue tradition that seems to be fading away. A great place that is keeping southern food in a southern setting alive.
