Marilynn's Place is a unique restaurant located in an old gas station. The red beans and rice, salmon bagels, and shrimp po boy are amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. The catfish po boy and NOLA bread and butter pudding are delicious. The staff is courteous and takes the time to describe the menu to out-of-state visitors. Customers praise the excellent beignets, jambalaya, and seafood gumbo. The setup may be odd, but it's an interesting place that offers a wonderful dining experience. Marilynn, the owner, has created a beautiful home for her loyal fans and customers who keep coming back for the top-notch Louisiana-style cuisine.
