Shrimp Creole was amazing, not too heavy, tomatoes and spices were blended and cooked just right. My wife ordered fried catfish which was also excellent.

This campy gas station turned Cajun restaurant serves up delicious Cajun food. I’ve never had a bad meal. Bottomless mimosas are a bonus.

Coming from Oklahoma, we wanted to eat at a local restaurant instead of a casino or chain. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a try, and we're sure glad we did! My wife and I split the fried crawfish and crawfish etuofee dinner. It was the best we've ever had. For dessert we had a warm beinae and it was absolutely delicious! The next time we're in Shreveport we'll eat there again!

Super cute spot with a very laid-back atmosphere. Some of the best catfish I’ve ever had. I normally do not car for steak fries or hush puppies, but I could eat theirs every day. The bartender was very friendly and helpful, and made a wonderfully spicy Bloody Mary. The gumbo was too salty for my taste, but it was thick, rich, and full of seafood. I’kk be back next time I’m in town.

When we originally showed up, it was only breakfast food being served. We politely declined and told them that we would come back. Of course they were thinking we wouldn’t come back, but we came back for lunch. We ordered fried catfish platter and I got a half shrimp Poboy and the other half seafood gumbo they were still waiting on the rice for the gumbo so they asked me did I want to get a different type of rice? I told them no I would wait and since it was such a long wait time they not only brought us been gays, but also gave us a gift card for the long of the weight The atmosphere the environment. Amazing they make you feel so down to earth and at home. We will definitely be back

Nearly 20 years living in Shreveport and I gotta say this is my favorite place to eat out. Don't let the gas station exterior fool you, this is a high quality restaurant. Everything is good, but I love the fried shrimp and shrimp remoulade poboys here. So much shrimp it overflows out of the sandwich. They also have the Joyce poboy which I didn't like at first, but now I'm strangely loving it. One of the very few places where the take-out food feels just as satisfying as dining-in. Recommend dining in, any poboys (extra recommendation on the shrimp poboys), etoufee, and beignets. Honestly, with all this good LA food, I wanna say I don't recommend getting the burger, but even their burger on that Gambino bread was pretty darn good lol. I'm sure I've eaten here prolly over 100 times, and I've never been disappointed. Great for date night, family night, or any other special occasion. When I have friends come in from out of town, I take them to all kinds of places, but this place always ends up being their favorite. I no longer live in Shreveport, and I miss this place dearly.

Highly disappointed. I haven’t been here in a while. I ordered fried shrimp to go. I got more fries on the plate than anything. Small popcorn shrimp tossed in corn meal and fried was disappointing. Cole slaw was in a tartar sauce portion dip which is crazy. To pay $23 for this is disappointing. Hushpuppies were dry. They use to be so much better.

From the moment we walked in I knew we had found it. Authentic Cajun cuisine close to home ! My husband loves a roast beef po boy and they’re harder to find than the shrimp and fish ones. Marilyns is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so we made plans to go on a Thursday. We split a huge one and ended up bringing a big portion home. It was cooked just right. Debris cooked to perfection fully Dressed with au jus on the side. Marilyn’s coleslaw was excellent as well. Never had any quite like it . Don’t ask me how I know but the Beignets and th Bananas Foster were both outstanding. What a friendly place. The manager and everyone there went out of their way to make us feel at home! Hang on Marilyn- We will be back!
