The portion sizes aren't always the best and they get the order incorrect from time to time. But the food typically tastes goodDietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and must eat a gluten free diet. I have never experienced cross contamination at this location

Whereas the food is always great and employees generally pleasant, they seem under staffed. As a franchise, their app rarely works. You can't even call and order at this location. I'm not sure if that has been implemented everywhere or just Ruston. It seems to be a hopping little place so I'm a bit surprised they haven't poured more into it. Rating is no reflection of Ruston staff or food. I appreciate their work and kindness.

The staff are slow, lazy, and could care less. Ordered 2 cups of soup and it took over a half hour with only 3 customers in the restaurant. Inquired when it would be ready and was given some excuse about it being frozen. Because of the attitude I asked for a refund and was told the "manager" did not know how to do one and I'd have to come back tomorrow. ? After I persisted, she then got an actual manager on her cell phone to walk her through the steps and I was told it would be 7-8 business days before the refund would be received. *** this could've been avoided had they mentioned it may take longer than usual to receive our order ***The "manager" also coughed on her hand as she went into kitchen to make sandwiches, ?.

It’s just gotten to be too much $ for what it is - this was $22. For takeout food. The lettuce had seen better days. The soup was in the smallest container. The restaurant was chaotic. They put my food on the shelf even though I was standing there waiting - and ordered in person.

This was my first time at this particular location, but I love McAllister's in general. The lady that took our order walked away three times to talk to the guys in the back about various things. My husband stood up there, waiting on our drinks for a while. When he brought the drinks to the table, he went back to get the number, but she was already bringing out my order. My husband's order did not come. He went back up there to get his order and she walked away and was visiting with the guys in the back who were basically playing behind in the kitchen while I could see them. He got tired of waiting, so he came back to our table. She brought his food in a bag instead of on a plate. There were no utensils. He went back to ask for utensils, and she sent him over to a different place to pick them up. This is not how it supposed to go out to McAllister's. McAllister's has excellent food and excellent service... This particular location does not live up to that. To add insult to injury... The table beside us had to send their order back because it was done incorrectly. All of this and they were only three tables of customers in the building. What are they doing in that kitchen?

We tried to go in for dinner. There was no one at the counter and no one appeared to be in the back. Waited several minutes and no one came up. We left along the people behind us. Horrible experience. Won’t be back.

The restaurant needed a little TLC but overall, not terrible. The employee that took the order seemed like she didn't like her job, but the young man who brought my food was very friendly and asked if I needed anything else. The food, itself, was really good. I had a grilled chicken salad with honey mustard dressing. LOVE the lemonade!!

This place used to be so good. Club sandwich was ok but kinda looked like my kid made it. Chili was like runny soup. Service was good.

On one hand, the food is good quality. No doubt about that. We typically do office or catering orders either directly for pick up or through door dash. This location really seems to struggle to get everything right on larger orders, even with multiple opportunities. A good spot to stop and dine in, but not recommended for catering or large orders.

Man i love the food. But the service is soooooo slow! 40-60 minutes everytime to wait for a sandwich. Even if you order ahead! Not even restaurant wait is that long

I have given this location 3 tries within 30 days to get it right and they just can't. I don't like writing bad reviews but after today they left me no choice. First I want to acknowledge the patient,sweet, and kind young lady who was working at the register. She was tall and brown skin and she was trying her best. I made an online order like I always do. I arrived at 11;30 and you all were out of spuds. How are you out of spuds this early after you just opened? So I substituted for a salad with egg no tomatoes. I received the salad and it was loaded with tomatoes and no egg. I never received my ultimate nacho. The cooks were being very rude to the ladies at the register. It was pure chaos in that restaurant. I spent 40 minutes in there and still didn't receive what I ordered. I just left. This location needs to get organized.
