Ming Garden is a traditional North American-style Chinese restaurant. The food is always great, and the service is excellent. The restaurant environment is very nice, and customers are quickly seated. The dishes are served fast, and the prices are very reasonable. The lo mein is particularly fantastic. The Szhwan chicken and combination fried rice are excellent, and all meals have generous portions for a good price. The veggie soup with chicken is a large portion enough for 2 people, and the wontons are the best in Louisiana, though a little more sweet than some are used to. The hot tea was not that great, but that is not a big deal. The service is super great, especially from the wait staff who make customers feel very welcome. The owner and wait staff are always great. The restaurant is convenient to the base for lunch with friends or coworkers. It is a favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Shreveport Bossier, and customers have been going there for decades. The food is always excellent, and it is a great experience every time. The fortune cookie is a nice little extra. Customers will definitely return and recommend dining in.
