This used to be my fav podnuhs location. I haven’t been in months, but I went today and me and my bf spent $40 for our food just to get a bunch of fat for the “brisket” plate and the sides were cold… (Mac and cheese and baked beans) the staff was very polite but I couldn’t even eat one piece of my brisket because it was all pure fat. I just don’t understand how whoever cut this would serve something to someone they themselves wouldn’t even eat I’m sure. $40 wasted.

WOW! This is the best BBQ ever! The meat is so tender and delicious and tears apart like butter! Potato salad, veggies, and dessert were fresh and delicious! Having had BBQ in Tx, Kansas City....and this is hands down the BEST! We can't wait to go back. See you soon!

Vegetarian options: they had corn on the cob, green beans, potato salad, mashed potatoes, and other fresh veggies as well.

This Podnah’s on Shreport- Barksdale has undergone a MAJOR positive transformation in the last month. Tim took on management and brought in his experienced crew, and they have brought back high quality standards to the size and quality of the smoked meats and sides.

They also work hard to know their customers and earn repeat business.

The only thing that was worth eating was the beans and potato salad, I didn’t have the meat but I’m sure it’s how they’re still in business because the corn and potato’s had absolutely no flavor. Felt like food for the geriatric. I’ve had better school lunches than this.

Ordered the Family Feast for 3-4 people on Door Dash (over $70). Received ONE 3-meat plate ($20) Had the food re-delivered. They did it AGAIN, a 2nd time! Ridiculous!
After waiting for another 30 minutes for the 2nd wrong order. We decided to eat what we had. Brisket was dry, ham was ok and ribs were ok. The beans, thank goodness, were great. Everything was cold from waiting. Just wish we received what we actually ordered.

Been here like five times. The last few times the meat was simply too tough to eat and everything was cold. Even the Texas toast was dry and hard. Won't be back. I don't eat somewhere hoping it will be good.

The service was amazing. We decided to eat inside (myself and 5 kids 8 and under). We were the only ones inside to eat, so thankfully, the rowdy bunch with me didn't disturb anyone else eating. The team members pulled 2 tables together for us, turned the TV on for us while we ate, and checked in on us constantly. The food was delicious as well! The restaurant and rest rooms were nice and clean. Well definitely be back!
