Listen, I understand that the people working here are college age and that making coffee is not an easy or timely task, but I've been in the drive-thru several times, and I can guarantee if there's even ONE car in front of me that ordered a coffee, I will be there for 10-20 minutes. Consistently. This is really frustrating because as a drive-thru, the function of it is to be a quick service option, but for whatever reason, whether it be the lack of staff or the slow machines or whatever, the drive-thru here is never fast or convenient. Not to mention there is a high likelihood the order I get won't even be my own, which is especially frustrating considering I only ever order donuts.
I've tried to be patient as I still love eating southern maid and this is the only place in the provenance area where I can get a donut in the mornings, but after I spent this morning waiting behind a car for 30 minutes, I just had enough. I love the Rhino Coffee brand, and I think the drive-thru idea is a great one, but I'd rather this branch not have a drive-thru than have one that is consistently slow and sloppy.
Got a breakfast biscuit. It's not good. Tastes like chemicals. Tastes like it came from a microwave. The top part of the biscuit doesn't even fit on there. I don't drink their coffee either bc it's not good. I guess I should've figured it would've been that way with the food, too.
The service is very good and the atmosphere is relaxing, but I'm not going to spend money on a relaxing atmosphere and service if their products are subpar. I really think Rhino is a local brand which is why people are so loyal to it, although their coffee and food isn't good at all.
Lovely place, very atmospheric, with great selection of authentic coffee and fresh pastries. The personnel is very friendly and respectful, they readily answered all our questions and made us feel like home. Will definitely come back here again!
Service and quality have been deteriorating lately. At least when we visit almost every Saturday morning. 50/50 shot whether I’ll get a good vs under extracted coffee. Also a 50/50 shot that I’m going to have to request that my donut order actually gets filled. Coffee seems to be finished quickly each time but may need a better process for ensuring that donut orders are actually completed.
The Rhino Burrito and the coffee is what makes this place.
Good coffee and pastries. There are also several tables that is perfect if you want to sit and study/read. Wall adapters are not an issue as almost every table has an outlet! Only con is how early the shop closes but it opens very early at 6AM. There is also plenty of outdoor seating as part of a common space that is shared by all the other stores nearby where you can sit at once the shop closes.
Very beautiful place and good coffee

Lovely, neighborhood place for a cappuccino and a slice of gluten-free banana bread. There are outlets on the tables for your phone or laptop.

I am really disappointed in the quality of these donuts and honestly concerned about the future of this shop if they continueto deliver this quality. As you can see they are not the typical Southernmaid. Very thin and So extremely greasy. They could visibly tell that this was not an acceptable product to sell. When I called, I was told they probably were not proofed. I repeatedly told her they were not edible. Finally and only after i asked the lady did agree to return half of my money.

The food is always on point. The coffee is highly inconsistent and some of the baristas are not friendly. Sometimes it’s really good and sometimes it’s trash. But let’s talk about the atmosphere… they have the worst music rotation I’ve ever heard. It’s like a bad trip. One song will be folk, then scream-o, then 90s pop, then an indie song. I get whiplash from the music. It’s so hard to focus and I usually choose not to go to a rhino location simply because I want a coffee shop vibe and good coffee and can’t get it from Rhino anymore.

It’s hard to order from the menu. So I specifically told about the order. She made it different way. I asked her to just fix it a little, because you can’t drink bitter sour coffee, just the way they make it. She made a face, argued, went in the back, started whispering with other co workers, other co workers now staring at me, some giggling, some just staring. I felt humiliated for just a cup of coffee. Not to mention, the girl yelled my name from a corner and tossed/threw the cup on the table like here you go, in your face. She didn’t respectfully call me name and handed over the coffee or atleast left on the counter. She tossed it!

It's hard to get a special order from the menu from this place. It's nice for the donuts, coffee shop. I'm not really fond of the glass soda bottles they charge an arm and a leg for. Not to mention the sandwich and chips dont come with a drink.... But to screw up a sandwich on multiple occasions, just not right. Last time I stop here for a sandwich. Cannot follow simple instructions.
