This is one of Shreveport's very few Black owned clubs! They have been open for about 7 years. The owner has put his heart into it making this a comfortable establishment, and you can tell!! Parking for this venue is way better than parking downtown. It's free to park. There's an outside patio, and for those that would like, they also sell cigars. There's been a cool vibe every time I've been. When you walk in there are bar stools along the bar, tables and chairs in the center and a couch space, out of the way, over to the left. They've had concerts, comedy shows, NFL/NBA watch nights, you name it. Sound system is booming! Bartender is cool, polite and professional. Every third Sunday at 5:00 p.m. there is a comedy show that's pretty funny! Comedians from our area and beyond come and take over the mic. On Tuesdays they have "Tacos and Tequila". If you order the nacho be sure to get a to go box lol. They have beef, chicken and brisket, tacos and nachos. I had to get two tacos because the first one was too tasty! You can get 2 different kinds of cheeses, some kind of special sauce, onions, jalapeno peppers, lettuce and tomatoes to dress it up! This would be the perfect spot for private events like bachelorette parties, reunions, anniversaries and birthdays. When you go by, tell the owner you read about it here :)Parking: Parking available on the street, individual spaces available in the front of the building and there is a free parking lot diagonally across from the establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: If you need handicap parking, you can pull directly to the front of the building. The front entrance. There are no steps. You go through the front gate, in through the front double doors and everything is on one main floor. All doorways are wide enough to get through and there's enough spacing between tables and chairs for accessibility.

This is a great place to have a drink and a good time. The only criticism I have would be the band with the female singer, and her husband on the keyboard that were there on Thursday nights. She hounded my friend and I, pouring her sad stories about her abusive husband. Every break she came by our table begging for us to buy her CD's until finally we gave in, just so she would leave us alone. If that duo is there I suggest skipping that night, other than that, the place is great, the staff is amazing!

Lake Street Bar's service is unbeatable. The selection of discounted drinks and appetizers is impressive, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The value for money during this time is incredible, and it's a great opportunity to try new drinks and flavors.
