Go for the famous strawberry pie! Or because you attended Centenary College across the street and enjoy nostalgia. It's a Shreveport institution. Diner food, friendly staff, excellent strawberry pie, reasonable prices. Who could ask for more?
In town for LSUS graduation and went for brunch. A no frills place that has a great atmosphere and history and sticks to the basics that works. Not fancy but good for breakfast diner food. More parking in the back.
Best breakfast in Shreveport! We've been coming in once a year for Geek'd for the past 4 years, and Strawn's is always a must on the itinerary. Chicken fried steak, French toast, biscuits, and especially the pancakes are all fantastic!
