The Glass Hat Cafe Reviews
The Glass Hat is a wonderful stop for breakfast or lunch, the prices are fair and the food is great. Our entire board of directors frequents here regularly. The owner Andy is a top notch good guy, and BeBe is our favorite waitress. 10/10
Stopped for breakfast and it was amazing. The eggs were scrambled perfectly and the millionaire bacon was really tasty! We will definitely be back again!!!
The Veggies were wonderful and the cornbread. My pork chop wasn’t edible at all , fried so much was a super dry inedible mess. The service was great and atmosphere. I’ll go back but don’t recommend the pork chop apparently the cook cant fry very well .

The Glass Hat Cafe is a local gem serving delicious food in a unique atmosphere reminiscent of New Orleans. This wonderful stop for breakfast or lunch has fair prices and great food. While not all dishes are a hit, the veggies, cornbread, and candied bacon are wonderful. The Build Your Own Omelet is a favorite, prepared just right by Chef Alex, and the country potatoes are fresh and delicious. The service is great, with friendly and helpful staff like BeBe and Ms. Tammy, ensuring guests are well taken care of. The cafe is clean and features natural lighting, exposed brick walls, and a skylight. Parking is easy in the 501 lot (spots 41-52), with handicap accessibility. Though noise can be amplified inside, the food comes out quick and hot, and the coffee is good with vanilla cream upon request. A hidden gem worth revisiting, the cafe also has a private room for events and is less than 10 miles from nearby casinos. Visitors appreciate the great atmosphere and excellent service, making it a place to chat and enjoy each other’s company.
