Horrible experience my first time was really good food was great service ok
But second time totally different I spent 20 minutes and body ask me if i want something to drink but people coming in nice dress and right away they served drinks and take their orders
Probably I have to dress like rich people in to get attention

Stopped by for lunch, and everything was really good. Will definitely be back.

This is our go to restaurant when we want good local food. The seafood platters are some of the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that I've yet to have a bartender make a proper Old Fashioned. They need to work on their cocktail making a little bit.

Mesquite grilled Oysters, Not a lot of flavor, Barely grilled?? What happened?? Had them before & were awesome!! And I’m Sorry but the Gumbo was awful😵‍💫 looked like a bowl of Mud?!? We love going there, but today was not the best? Thanks to our Server, he was very understanding.

Natalie works behind the bar and she's very rude. We asked her to print our ticket and she said company policy if u pay cash it doesn't give out receipts. Then we ask the host and she brings out a ticket. We were dining end but just ordered drinks cause Natalie was rude and she charged up 10% service charge and said its company policy. Natalie also lied about her name being Alisha and that the manager let's her clock in under someone else's name when they switch shifts. She just lied and made the company loose business. We come all the time and I believe this will definitely be me and the ladies last time coming.

I seldom complain. I used to bartend and wait tables. I understand sometimes things get really busy and you can have an off night. That being said it was not a busy night. There were 4 people at the bar. 10-14 in the indoor bar area depending on the time. There were two bartenders. So this isn’t a huge undertaking in my opinion. My date and I waited for another basket of chips for 12-14 minutes and then finally got them when the entree arrived because I asked for them. I was halfway through my meal and never got another beer. My date ran out of water and took my unconsumed water and drank that too. I don’t feel it’s too much to ask for water, beer and chips. I was very disenchanted at this point and I was looking for a bartender to close out. Couldn’t find anyone and a nice redheaded lady next to me asked if I was trying to close out and she found someone.
I WILL GO BACK! I just need a better experience next time. I usually go in the day and Newman (Neuman) waits on me. He’s fabulous. I left over 20% tip because I understand off nights happen, but try harder please! Pics of my empty beer and the two glasses of water that my date took from me because she never got her water refilled. Please do better!!!! I will be back. #DOBETTER

My fiancé and I came in today 9/29/24 to get a late lunch. We had to wait a little bit for a hostess but then someone came and sat us in a corner table. We waited about 10 minutes before someone came and asked us for our drink orders. While we were waiting someone sits an elderly lady down to the right of us and gave her water, chips and salsa and got her drink order. As that was happening we were waiting for someone to bring us waters, chips and salsa. This took about 8-10 minutes. Then a guy came by and finally asked us for our drink order. This guy looked like Abraham Lincoln. Then a girl walks up and ask of for our drink order. We told her some guy just got it. She apologized and said “sorry we were at 3 sections but now we’re at 4 I think”. Then the girl told someone to bring us chips and salsa and waters. We got those not long after she told us. Then Lincoln comes by with our drinks. We told him then what we wanted. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and my fiancé ordered a steak sandwich. Simple order! It was 2:50pm when we told him this. By this time a party was arriving where the fish tank used to be. I started thinking our order shouldn’t be long because it was a simple order. Well 20 minutes go by and this is the only time the waiter checked on us. He got us one refill and told us it shouldn’t be much longer. The elderly lady, “that was seated after us, got her food before we did”. Remind you we told him at 2:50pm what we wanted and it’s now passed 3:16pm. I started to get impatient around 3:20pm. By then I figured it would’ve been brought out. It wasn’t. I kept watching him and everyone else. No one checked on us. I told my fiancé it’s 3:34, this is ridiculous. He agreed. I went to the bar and got change for a $20 bill. We had one beer, a dr pepper and a sweet tea.
I put $10 on the table. As we were walking out the hostess said “ have a great day!” I said “oh no we’re leaving because it’s been a a 30-40 minute wait for our food and we’re not waiting anymore. But we paid for our drinks the cash is on the table.” She apologized for our experience.
This experience really upsets me because “before” the remodel and I guess new management I used to love coming here but now I really don’t care for it just like how our waiter didn’t care for us.

I have been wanting to eat here again. It had been a few years. I live this place! I got the grilled shrimp, and they were perfectly cooked and so good!

The food was super good. The place was nearly arranged with tables inside and outside -in case you got too cold inside-. Flavor was good, color and consistency. The flavor was unique and very tasty. The only one thing is the restroom, there was too many flies inside. Overall, we loved it and would come back and eat again. Thank you

Sweet, kind , and delishous.. met my ARMY Brother there for a 33yr reunion and took the table all night.. never a complaint. The Server was perfect and took amazing care all evening. Thank you! The food was just what the Louisiana Cook ordered.. spot on delishous!
