One of the best soul food meals I’ve had in a long time. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. As soon as I walked in, the aroma reminded me of my mom’s cooking, which made the experience even more special. I’m on a diet, so I can’t come as often as I’d like, but I’ll definitely visit whenever I can. They’ve gained a loyal customer in me. If you haven’t tried this place yet, it’s absolutely worth a visit.

Chef Hardette Harris created a delicious New Year’s Day family meal that was loved by all! Perfectly packaged with ample portions of incredibly tasty food! The black-eyes peas and cabbage were so comforting and flavorful, but the real star of the show were the pork chops! Holy moly…. Soooooooo yummy, tender and perfectly seasoned! I wanted “new years” foods without the hassle of having to cook, but this decision turned out to be so much more than just convenience, it was perfection! Exceptional food! The family style meal is the way to go! Can’t wait for the next offering for a special occasion, or really any day of the week. You will not be disappointed, in fact, you’ll wonder why it took you so long to find them gem! Ms. Harris is a beautiful lady inside and out and her food is so amazing. We met her one day when looking for a down home Southern cooking restaurant. Well she was not open at the time but gave us several good recommendations for a restaurant but told us if we were ever back in town to give her a call and she would fix us a meal to die for. I wasn't sure if she was serious or not but gave her a call anyway and she remembered me right away. We made arrangements to meet at a certain time and we were not disappointed. She prepared a fantastic North Louisiana meal . We sat down with her and had a wonderful time eating and talking and making a new friend. If you get a chance, go try out her restaurant, you will be glad you did.

A must visit!! The staff was phenomenal. The family atmosphere was great, I immediately felt like I was waiting to eat at one of my relatives' homes. I had the smothered chicken with the black-eyed peas and cabbage with a small piece of savory cornbread ( I wish the portion was a little bigger), everything was tasty.
