Always a great meal here! Staff is above and beyond friendly and accommodating. Great food and drink specials, but the regular menu is always solid as well. Caesar salad was fresh with just the right dressing and the bread was hot and crispy. My sugar cookie white Russian was the perfect ending to the meal. They might be a little off the beaten track for some folks, but it's worth it for wonderful food and excellent service!
Went looking for Italian as part of my pre thanksgiving behavior and found this gem.
Everything was spot on from the red gravy on the chicken parm to the tender veal, all takeout.

Assunta’s Italian earned an A+ in every dining category. The food was expertly cooked Italian with fresh, quality ingredients. The veal was tender and the capers were plentiful. \nThe servers were friendly, knowledgeable, and cooperative in assisting each other with their tables.
