1st time at Big Mama's...2 tables waiting for food... cook brings out one meal at a time depending if it is the same order... we were too hungry to stay and wait another 30 minutes for food. Maybe next time.

The food was very good. It was hot and omg...tasted soooooooo good! I had the French toast and the pasta. They were delicious. My aunt had chicken and waffles and she enjoyed them. I can say the strawberry lemonade tasted like kool aid. We waited 20 minutes for it and it was weak an watery.It's ducked off a bit, so you gotta be paying attention to see it, but it's worth the hunt. The service was excellent. I can't remember the server's name but he was really nice.The atmosphere wasn't "bad;" it was just basic. The food makes you not care at all. You've gotta eat here!

We love the breakfast, first time trying grits and shrimp. When my husband told me about this dish I was really skeptical, then I read the review and I decided to give it a try. It was Really GOOD!! ? I will definitely make a stop on my trip again just to eat this delicious breakfast. My girls love the waffles as well

This is a super belated review, but my mom and I were passing through LA on the way to TX at the beginning of June and stopped into this place for lunch. It was so fantastic that I’m remembering to write this review a month later! The food was incredible and the owner was just the sweetest lady. My mom is sensitive to carbs and didn’t eat the rice and cornbread, and the owner insisted on giving her a free bowl of gumbo! I’m vegetarian and there were several options for me as well. Just solid people, delicious food and great service. Her restaurant should be packed! If the owner is reading this, I hope you managed to figure out Tiktok and I wish you so much success!

The food is pretty good and the management and owner are wonderful. But don't go if you're in a rush because the service is really slow. I've been at least 5 times and it was slow each time.

My wife and I order meal prep from Ms Judy and have enjoyed every week so for. The food is great, portions are large and price is fair. Great little locally owned restaurant in the area.

Everything was wonderful. Homemade taste all the way. I wish the ham was like a thick cut off bone but that bacon was mouth watering.
