This is a great bike shop! We are fortunate to have them in Slidell., They assembled 2 bikes for me at a reasonable price. They also have a nice assortment of bikes inside, especially E bikes.

Walking our 3 dogs like we always do past Brooks Bikes & employee speed past us on his E-Bike, without slowing down startling us & the dogs. Could've gone around us & instead plowed through us on the sidewalk by the vacant lot & parking lot brooks shares w/the other businesses. GO FIGURE IT WAS 10:04am on 10/7, BROKKS OPENS AT 9am!!!! Good luck with that EMPLOYEE BROOKS 🤬

NEVER SLOWED DOWN!!! When he could've just gone around us or crossed the street. GO FIGURE IT WAS 10:04 am on 10/7/2025 & Brooks opens at 9am.... happened at the corner of the vacant lot & the parking lot Brooks shares with the other businesses. Very disrespectful!!!

We have been to all locations and every one of them is great. We love the Covington shop - rentals for the whole family.
Latest was getting the big flyer at the Slidell location. The owner is patient, answered all our questions and helped us get the best bike. 100% recommend if you are looking for a new bike, rent a bike, or even need a repair on your current bike. They even have skate boards and all kinds of stuff! Shop local!!

Great service my bike works better then ever

Really loved this bike shop. The mechanic was able to look at my bike immediately and he was very fair in pricing. I was entertained by his hospitality and stories of travel while I waited.
Even the owner Mr Brooks was on site and very friendly.
Highly recommend using this shop for any bicycle needs.
