I went in there last night and was served by a kind gentleman, but then once my order was complete a younger kid who was supposed to pay me out continued to do his cleaning work so he could leave rather than take my payment. I stood there for about 5 minutes, bagged my own food, and then when he was finally done cleaning and ready to accept my payment, it was a horrible attitude as if I was inconveniencing him.

Then when my food was being made I was getting minimal product as they were scraping the bowls clean to give me a half of a spoonful of corn and cheese. I’m paying $40 for food, why am I getting less than the person before me because of laziness…

I understand bad days, but the customer service is deplorable at this location..I can’t imagine I’ll be back.

Service was terrible. They were out of white rice and instead of telling us, they just put brown without an option. I asked if they were making any and they just responded with idk. I had 2 more orders and just decided not to purchase anymore due to the rudeness and lack of options. There were also no veggies, cheese, or corn. We ordered in the restaurant and they still were missing items from our order. Chips were so stale we couldn't even eat them. 🤮 easily the worst experience we've had at a Chipotle

Worst location I’ve ever visited. Once I was serviced there was little to no communication about anything on the line even though I saw several empty bins. I asked for a bowl, white rice (the rice was scrapped from every border wall of the container), then chicken. The employee looked around every corner and said “it’s on the grill.” Nothing else just “it’s on the grill.” I said I’ll wait, then sat on the stool nearest the beginning of the line. I watched him dump the scrapped out rice from the bowl back into the container in the food station and proceed to offer it to the next person in line. No proper food safety nor clear communication skills so that the customers expectations are set before moving down the line. I left and will never return.

If you value your time, go somewhere else. I never seen service this slow. Was at the back of the line, after 10 min moved forward around one foot, then I just left.

Worst customer service on 2/15/26. @6:25p. While waiting in line as I came to pay the Caucasian left the register and would not ring me up. Orders were piling up and the African American woman had to finish my order. When the Caucasian young man came to ring me up was completely rude and refused to give me a receipt after I showed him he never gave me a receipt in my bag. Worst customer service I ever received from Chipotle.

I generally don’t leave negative reviews. The meat serving was extremely small. I asked the server about it and they said you have to pay for extra meat. I weigh food all day and know that my chicken serving was one small scoop in the bowl and no more than 2 ounces.Their website says 4 ounces is a serving of meat.

They love to Skimp on protein the food is expensive and when I ask for double protein i expect it 2 bowls one with extra protein easily reaches $50 better off going to a steak house for that price.

Workers wear the same gloves while switching from the register to preparing food, then argue with you when politely asking for them to change gloves before they touch your food. Also have found strands of hair in my food and most recently, a huge chunk of plastic. Gross!!

Worst Chipotle experience ever. And I'm including all the times that we've walked in at Hammond, Mandeville, Covington, and Slidell and seeing the person prepping the food also run the register and not change their gloves. 🤮 At least in those instances I need to turn around at the door.

Corporate was here training and the vibe was so stressful. Should have known when they took over dining tables with all their papers and books that being all corporate was more important than customer service.

Before this I would say we ate at a Chipotle in the region at least once a week. And that would be anywhere from Baton Rouge to Slidell and Covington to Metairie. We've learned that chipotle treats their employees terribly. They just about work managers to death.

There won't be a response to this review because I've learned the hard way that chipotle doesn't really care what customers think. So I'm leaving this here to warn off other customers.

And I will say this, for anyone reading this that is neurodivergent or love someone that is, do not subject them to this atmosphere. Completely uncaring and a huge disappointment. Won't be back to this location.

PS Just went to a different location and got peppers on the quesadilla! So just skip the corporate wonks in Slidell.

The burritos I ordered were HUGE, mostly, that’s what mattered to me the most that day because I was starving, the price was right for them too, @ $10. I ordered for my lady and she was happy too, way better than the Metairie location!
