Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

You misspelled 'cozy' on your review choices. I loved the Campfire meals and was very sad to hear they are no longer available. I like the new look in the restaurant but like the previous menu better. I get great service in the Slidell, LA location. The store is beautiful and I can always find a nice gift there. I like the rewards program, also. I recommend the meat loaf and the southern style chicken to friends. I also think the greens are excellent. The cole slaw is also excellent. I think a soup/salad or soup/quiche or salad/quiche would be a good addition to your menu. I especially think seniors would enjoy this. A loaded baked potato would be another great menu item. I think changing the branding/logo was ridiculous!

Cracker barrel seems pretty consistent with their atmosphere and service but this one in particular has GREAT waitress, hostess and servers! Everyone was AWESOME! The young blonde hostess, I can't recall her name right now, every time I go she's so pleasant and we have great conversation! Christina was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful as well!!! We will be back A LOT!

I had the worst day upon arriving at Cracker Barrel. My server Kristin, was the most amazing lady. She was sweet and kind. She immediately notices my struggle and did all she could to make me feel comfortable. Overall a wonderful visit and we will be back to see her.

The food was amazing ! I ate so fast I didn't get a picture, and my meal was picture worthy. My server was awesome, if I remember correctly his name was Zee. He checked in on all of his table frequently, making sure we all had everything we needed. I eat at Cracker Barrel so often I order my food with my drink and he was very down to earth about it. Some servers prefer to do one thing at a time. It was a Sunday so I was caught by the church crowd but the wait wasn't bad and they moved quickly and productively. Overall there's nothing like Cracker Barrel, especially for breakfast but the staff can make or break a review. Luckily this staff was amazing from the front door host, to the seating host, my server, and even the lady collecting payments. Everyone was so friendly. I would definitely recommend this Cracker Barrel.

The worse customer service experience, now they are tied with the Gulfport location. The only outstanding waiter here is TYLER. The host here was very rude and didn’t sit us down right away but she was sure to sit down every person behind us in line waiting. They had a 5 minute wait time and my group had a 30 minute wait time. The waitress we got stuck with was NEW, no clue what she was doing and had taken a portion of TYLER’s section. I’m not coming back here again.

I've posted about this place before, but I really want to praise them again. They are so deserving. Our food was excellent. The only issue was my steak was overcooked, but was recooked to what I expected. I really want to praise Christina, our server. She was very attentive and went out of her way to ensure our experience was superb. She's a rare breed who still holds value to the customer service industry. She cares for her customers as if they are family and takes extreme pride in her work. Thank you, Christina! Your the best! And anyone who sees this review and decides to come to this location in Slidell, ask for Christina as your server. I promise you will receive the best service!
