After being assigned a rude waitress (didn’t catch her name) who was inattentive and went out of her way to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, we politely requested a different server. As we were being moved to a new section, the waitress looked over and snickered at us. We got a tall gentleman who was recently promoted which he obviously deserved. He made our experience amazing. We even shared my son’s birthday cake with him and left a generous tip. To the other server please work on your poor nasty attitude or find a different occupation. You also missed out on a generous tip ?♀️

Good inexpensive typical American food in a very nice "country" atmosphere, long porch with rocking chairs. In the gift shop you can buy very nice gifts, cards or even blouses/T-shirts, sweets, soap, etc.

Location is kinda hard to get to... but Cracker barrell is my favorite place to eat.if not for sucky location for this one, id give 5 stars.
We usually plan trips around where we can find Cracker Barrel restraints. On this occasion, we were disappointed. The store cashier explained why people from Washington and Oregon will never deserve a Cracker Barrel in our states. The restaurant was not busy, but it still took a long time to get seated. It seemed the staff had been sentenced to their position and they hated what they did and the people they had to serve. The quality of food was not what I have come to expect.I hope Cracker Barrel has not gotten too big and become another corporate outlet. If we are lucky, this disappointment will only be related to this location only.

We stop here every time we travel back into Louisiana. The atmosphere is good, it is just always extremely cold in there. The service is good, but they are always busy and if you get the wrong server you might get a little frustrated as they seem overwhelmed. However, the food is consistently good and I will be back! I love the hashbrown casserole and my daughter is a big fan of the chicken and dumplings.Parking: Huge parking lot right off of the interstate. It makes it easy to park and travel to and from.Kid-friendliness: They have checker boards and peg games for them to play, but a country store which they can buy many of things from.

Just Me
Some of the food is good, some is OK and some of it thumbs down. My kid ordered dumplings. Each dumpling was like a half uncooked biscuit. ( a ball of dough) Dumplings are supposed to be rolled out thin, cut in strips, and then cooked. Not a thawed out frozen biscuit cut in half. The waitress was friendly but must have left for a smoke break because I was choking, from not having anything to drink. She was gone a long time, without checking on us. So, I shouted across the half empty room to another waitress. "HEY WAITRESS, I AM CHOKING OVER HERE" and held up my coke glass. These places cost a fair amount, and they add the tip. So, I want what I am paying for and shouldn't need to make everyone in the room look at me. I could care less what they thought. They don't pay my bills. My hamburger was bland. I could have got a lot better one elsewhere for the price. My wife and other kid got chicken fried steak and love it. I tasted it. It was the only thing on the table that was actually good tasting.
