Me and two of my friends went for dinner on 10/30 and we were impressed. Our server Breanna was fantastic! The food was awesome. We had the grilled redfish, hamburger, and I had the french cut porkchop that was one of the best I have ever had. Recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

The first time we came to this place they told us they couldn't do the chargrilled oysters- this was in march 2025. We had oysters tonight and they were sub par. This evening they were out of the Soft Shell Crab Pasta, so I had to relook over the menu, and I decided to go for the shrimp and grits. Well, they're out of the alligator sausage that's in the shrimp and grits so they couldn't make that. I settled on the shrimp platter with crawfish, mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was absolutely awful and fishy tasting like it was old and dry. The service is completely slow especially for an empty building. (5 tables on a Saturday Night)

Treated a sister friend to a birthday lunch and Ally was our server, she was AMAZING, she was very attentive, pleasant and just an awesome & interesting person!!! We also REALLY ENJOYED THE FOOD.

I ordered via DoorDash so I can’t speak on service or atmosphere, only reviewing the food but it was really, really bad. So they post wildly misleading photos online of their food— now I don’t know if these pictures were inspiration pics for how the dish would look in theory, or what, but attached is what the crawfish macaroni I ordered is advertised to look like. I am not exaggerating when I tell you what I got was elbow macaroni with a PILE of half melted shredded cheddar on top.. I wish I still had my pictures saved that I sent to DoorDash & could put them side by side but this was 3-4 months back and I clear my gallery out every so often. The second item I ordered was a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo and upon opening it…it sort of looked like ground beef inside. Like I’m not sure if it solidified somewhat but I was not bold enough to try it. Was refunded completely by DoorDash but I am not ever able to try the food here again… that was too much.
I also find the review by Dino Githens interesting. Sure they could be waiting on redfish or flounder, seems a little coincidental but the oysters thing is just a flat out lie. Oysters are available year round in Louisiana and every other seafood restaurant in the area has them all year. And we all know that. Just odd.

I ordered Charbroiled Oysters, we don't have those anymore, okay give me the Oysters Rockefeller, we can't make that, okay give me the Flounder, no we don't have that either, okay give me the Red Snapper, we don't have that either....We left after that...

Literally the nastiest experience. Shut it down. Pallets for decor??? The design is awful. Drink menu looks like a toddler created it. Have either of owners worked in restaurants before?? Bisque was chopped whole potatoes and vegetables in a bowl. Side salad was served in a cereal bowl. Like cmon have yall been out to eat before??

Honestly this place was so delicious! We took a roadtrip from Texas to Georgia and this had to have been the best stop. We got the seafood sampler, and omg the amount of food was incredible. We got the burger, juicy and delicious and hot. Fries on point. The gumbo was aight.

I loved the food!! It was indubitably the best meal I have had in a little while. I had my server as Ally!!! Ally was a slay queen!!! She had over five tables, yet she still maintained a positive attitude and a smile on her face every time we saw her. When servers are stressed, they typically don't smile, but she smiled throughout her night, making ours a good one. Specifically for my brother, it was his birthday, and he flew home soon. So it was a relief to know his last Louisiana meal was yummy with a good server. Also, I do not know the name of the other girl, but she had covered the drinks order down, and she was also super sweet. I love the atmosphere where people help out others; it provides a very joyful aura to be around! To conclude, Ally and the other girl were extremely sweet and kind. The staff exuded warmth and kindness, even amidst their stressful moments, making the experience all the more memorable. And the food? Phenomenal—truly a culinary delight you won’t want to miss! Moments, making the experience all the more memorable.
Absolutely awful. My husband and I were served expired, stinky steak at Cypress Restaurant last night. The smell was unbearable, and the taste was worse. When we politely complained, we were denied a refund or even a discount. Disgusting food and even worse customer service. Never again. Atmosphere was great though!

Pulled into parking lot on Sunday July 20 at 11:00 and there was not a car in the parking lot. Disappointing! Hours on Google maps says open Sundays 10:00-14:00. No note on door. Unable to review food or service. Lol! You may need to call before making a special trip there to see if they're even open.
