I loved the food!! It was indubitably the best meal I have had in a little while. I had my server as Ally!!! Ally was a slay queen!!! She had over five tables, yet she still maintained a positive attitude and a smile on her face every time we saw her. When servers are stressed, they typically don't smile, but she smiled throughout her night, making ours a good one. Specifically for my brother, it was his birthday, and he flew home soon. So it was a relief to know his last Louisiana meal was yummy with a good server. Also, I do not know the name of the other girl, but she had covered the drinks order down, and she was also super sweet. I love the atmosphere where people help out others; it provides a very joyful aura to be around! To conclude, Ally and the other girl were extremely sweet and kind. The staff exuded warmth and kindness, even amidst their stressful moments, making the experience all the more memorable. And the food? Phenomenal—truly a culinary delight you won’t want to miss! Moments, making the experience all the more memorable.

We had lunch here from a suggestion from someone at Cajun Encounters. We all loved it. Food was fantastic, our waitress was great. The gumbo, shrimp, grilled catfish, and egg rolls, were all delicious.

This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Slidell!! My husband and I eat here weekly for the awesome lunch specials that are served by our favorite waitress, LIZ!!! He enjoys the catfish and I love the Maui Maui Tacos!! Prices and portion sizes exceptional!!

I chose cypress tonight for Valentine’s Day and it was by far the worst mistake ever. It took almost 10 min for someone to walk up to the host desk to knowledge us. As I waited, I watched a couple get up and walk out. They said they been waiting forever for someone to come take their order. After they walked out, I watched the waitress walk over pick up their drinks and walk right up to us saying we can sit you. They did wipe there drink water marks off the table, nor pick up the silverware that was placed for them, and there menus still sat on the table. A waitress walked up to us immediately asking to take our drink order but it took them about 10 minutes to bring it out. We also ordered appetizer which they did not bring that out until they brought our food out. On top of this our meal came with a side salad and honestly I am still trying to figure out what the heck was that because that is not a salad that I am used to and my fish was so overcooked it was like eating rubber.

Walked in to place a to go order and bartender doesn’t greet me just puts menu on the bartop and walked away and 20 mins later still no service all the waiters just looked at me and didn’t try to help so I hit walked out. Horrible customer service!!!

For the amount of money we spent on lunch I was hoping for something more filling. I had the Cajun pasta and my wife had the salmon we shared the fried green tomatoes. She loved the salmon but the potatoes had no flavor at all and my pasta was not filling at all, it barely filled the bowl. The fried green tomatoes were mushy and the breading fell right off. The server was very nice and attentive so you have that going for you. Not sure I'll be back

This the first place I have ever eaten at that the water was sent back. The crawfish bread was sent back due to smell and taste of expired crawfish. The atmosphere was very nice. However, I wouldn't recommend eating here with the food experiencing we had. We came here for a business meeting and we had workers calling out sick for food poisoning. One of them only ate spinach dip and a burger. This is the first time I have ever written a review but we are all still recovering and its been two days now. There was 5 of us that ate there and 4 of the 5 people are sick. Great restaurant atmosphere but need to get the food quality under control.
