Ordered from dickie's and had a eighty dollar order and didn't receive a single thing we ordered and then they offer us a coupon for a free pulled pork sandwich. That is just a slap in the face to customers. Places Pour food was cold and the order wasn't right. Never go on there again.Be careful people.

Don’t waste your time, the food is just okay but very overpriced. The service is abysmal, the employees never pay attention, clearly don’t want to be there and make it clear you’re a burden to them. They won’t even say you’re welcome when you say thank you. We’re not talking just moody teenagers here, these are grown adults that stand around miserably ready to ruin any potential for a positive experience. I visited there 5 times in the last several months, so many chances have been given. We will not be returning here again.

I gave this place two chances. Both times I was met with extremely rude individuals who literally let you stand in their face until you ask if you can order, no greeting, no I’ll be with you in a min, nothing. Then when that interaction begins it continues to be piss poor. If you don’t like your job find another one or stay home.
When dickies was open by the mall I ate there atleast once a week for 10 years. I also frequently now visit the one in Covington on hwy 21. Incredible staff incredible food. But this Slidell store, y’all might as well go ahead and shut this down. I’m also never a person to walk in any later than an hour before close. I never do that do people. We were there an hour and twenty before. Plenty of time not to ruin these peoples lives.
Whoever was on shift 9/30/24 at 7:42 pm yall need to talk to them and remind them their checks get paid from customers spending money. Or send them to hwy 21 in Covington with a notepad to learn how to be successful and keep people coming back for a $45-50 meal.

Place needs help. Can’t understand what the cook is saying while he takes our order. We told him the number 1 he asked us which one is that. Couldn’t get any fries or okra. The women wasn’t giving much attention while she was putting topping on our food. She kept putting the wrong toppings on. She then answer her personal phone while ringing us up and had a full conversation while doing so. The tables are dirty. Probably needs new management and at least new employees.

Got the sliced brisket and chicken. Really small portion of chicken which was really dry and hard "didn't eat it" brisket had no flavor. They should probably throw the Freshness Guaranteed walmart brand potato salad packages away so no one knows. Pricy for what you get. Horrible customer service and there was no atmosphere.

Purchased 3 meat plate. Brisket,turkey and regular sausage with 2 sides, green beans and slaw.Brisket was OK it was better last time I went there a few months ago .Turkey and sausage was good.Cole slaw was good green beans was ok.I also got a potato salad to try it,will not be getting that again!The guy who served me was nice but seemed to have an issue working the register he apologized for the wait and inconvenience. Also got a tea with the meal.$27.00 total a little expensive I think.Looking at my receipt they charge me .39 cents for their renew recycle program what ever the hell that is.

The meat was over cooked and dry. The baked beans were so bad that my husband couldn’t eat them. Two out of six choices of sodas were available. Service was poor at best. They acted like we were an inconvenience. We were the only This was the first time to eat here and will be the last.

Macaroni was overcooled and mushy. Baked undercooked and hard with no flavor. The brisket was fine , but over all a waste of $25. I will not return.

I wish I would of read the reviews of this place before I wasted $20 bucks on the tiny, dried up ribs and two super small sides. When I went in to grab my food the staff looked miserable, didn't ask my name or anything I gave them my name and they just pushed a bag towards me and handed me an empty cup. I ordered a lemonade. They didn't have lemonade, they didn't have tea, and most of the sodas were just water with no syrup connected to them. The drink station was filthy with one fork, one spoon, and one straw sitting out. I loved Dickeys but Dickey's has become a joke.

June 20th 12:30 I ordered a 2 meat plate for delivery. When I received my food I had my pulled pork but my chicken was 3 small pieces. I called the store to question this. The manager called me entitled because I paid over 20 dollars and they didn't give me what I ordered. I ask for someone over her. And She became very unprofessional on the phone. Said she the GM.. I said fine I will ask for a refund. She told me I wasn't getting my money back. This location needs someone to fix this problem. To have a Karen as a manager and to talk to customers the way she talked to me. I also took pictures of the chicken and the smashed roll. As flat as a pancake. Won't be getting any more money from me! Customers beware. This place need a overhaul in leadership.

This location needs serious improvement. The customer service was awful, no greeting/welcome or communication when we walked in. It felt like our presence was an inconvenience. The food was awful. The meat was cold. No forks available, had to wait for the cashier to get some, making my food even colder. There were only two other people in there eating and I see why. I will never visit this location or probably Dickies in general again.

one of the kindest and sweetest experiences i’ve ever had. i went to pickup an order and decided to purchase a couple some food whom was struggling, the a cashier (didn’t catch his name, young guy with a black goatee) took care of us with such kindness. i left the restaurant with happy tears. he deserves the uttermost praise for ensuring both the couple and i were taken care of, and with a smile. i will most definitely be back, solely from his eagerness to help me do that favor.

The chicken was jerky as were the ribs. It was by far the worst food i have ever eaten at dickeys ever. Save the money eat at a different location.
This Dickey's is trash. We haven't had Dickey's since we moved from California 6 years ago. We finally moved somewhere there is a Dickey's and I guess it is too much of an inconvenience to the staff to make the food we ordered. I guess that is how they do it in Slidell. You pay for what they decide they are going to give you if you order a delivery.We did not get what we wanted. They did not communicate that they were subbing items on our order to the doordash driver. We ordered pulled pork and a 2 meat tray. The restaurant subbed Chicken for pork. They also subbed regular sausage for the jalapeno cheddar sausage. They were rude to the Dasher. And to top it all off the employees were too lazy to put forks and straws in the bag with our order. If your employees can't take care of customers, do their job correctly, and have a bad attitude, then why do they still work there?

This place has the absolute worst bbq, I ordered a 3 meat plate, ribs, sausage and chicken. When it was time to pay two of the employees argued whether there any ribs left. So I ended up getting dry chicken, tough brisket and tasteless sausage with old fries. I ended up throwing most of it away. Food sucks, place looks like it’s closing and employees look like Waffle House.
