The chicken was jerky as were the ribs. It was by far the worst food i have ever eaten at dickeys ever. Save the money eat at a different location.

This Dickey's is trash. We haven't had Dickey's since we moved from California 6 years ago. We finally moved somewhere there is a Dickey's and I guess it is too much of an inconvenience to the staff to make the food we ordered. I guess that is how they do it in Slidell. You pay for what they decide they are going to give you if you order a delivery.We did not get what we wanted. They did not communicate that they were subbing items on our order to the doordash driver. We ordered pulled pork and a 2 meat tray. The restaurant subbed Chicken for pork. They also subbed regular sausage for the jalapeno cheddar sausage. They were rude to the Dasher. And to top it all off the employees were too lazy to put forks and straws in the bag with our order. If your employees can't take care of customers, do their job correctly, and have a bad attitude, then why do they still work there?

This place has the absolute worst bbq, I ordered a 3 meat plate, ribs, sausage and chicken. When it was time to pay two of the employees argued whether there any ribs left. So I ended up getting dry chicken, tough brisket and tasteless sausage with old fries. I ended up throwing most of it away. Food sucks, place looks like it’s closing and employees look like Waffle House.

My order was not worth 40 dollars. My order said I would have Texas toast, it was a hamburger bun cut in half. The chicken was dry. When I placed my order, the time slot I had to choose was 30 min after placing the order. When I arrived, it was clear the order had been prepared well before pick up time. The food was luke warm. ? The food was not fresh.

I wish I could give them more than 3 stars but it just isn't that good BBQ. I had the ribs and mashed potatoes. With their sweet bbq sauce. Meat came off the bone easy enough which is as it should be. They are close to being better.

Went in this morning. Right up front where you order is your bun warming equipment. Absolutely disgusting. Rust, grease, grime all over it. This equipment hasn't been cleaned in months if not longer. You have certainly lost this customer. I would not recommend to anyone to go here and get food poisoning.

We have been to Dickey”s on North Shore Boulevard and it was alway good. My wife and I decided to give this location a try since we were shopping at Fremaux. It was the absolute worst place we’ve ever eaten. The portions were small for the amount we were charged. The Mac and cheese was dry and the green beans were way over seasoned. My wife couldn’t even eat her side items because they were disgusting. The Cole slaw even tasted old. The rolls were also hard as a brick. Nobody else was there when we pulled in so that should have been a good indication that this place was severely lacking. I’m not one to leave a negative review but this place deserves it.

This experience was shockingly bad.I'll start at the top. We arrived at approximately 530pm on a Sunday. The place was empty of customers and had three people working. All three were very sloppy and unkempt looking. In fact, it's not too much to say they were somewhat dirty in appearance and none were very friendly or inviting.Now on to the food. The wife ordered a potato. There was only one potato left, no green onions and barely any cheese at all. I ordered a three meat plate. All of the proteins were cold, greasy, utterly flavorless and served with no sauce. When i asked for sauce, the guy at the counter pulls out a near empty jug and no kidding, says this..."I think this is sauce", pours some in a cup and gives it to me.The fries were disgustingly oily and served late. They were stuffed in a greasy bag and served stuck together in a gelatinous mass. The fries were so greasy, they had to be peeled off from each other.The condition of the restaurant itself was filthy and unclean. A mop bucket and overturned broom, right there in the food prep area and the drink station was dirty.One star for two reasons. First and foremost, I have to. Secondly, the full refund was swift and without argument.
Wonderful staff and amazing food. Best place to watch the football games. Kids eat free on Sundays - of course with each adult meal. atmosphere is amazing to bring your family in.

So we ordered through Doordash, and the food came. The containers were sealed. The Mac & Cheese had a long hair all through the noodles! It was the restaurant that had it ? It was our first time ordering and never again, will we!! If you can't keep hair out of food, then what else is in your food!! Also ordered the 3 meat plate and only got 2 meats. And the Baker potato wasn't fully cooked... had to microwave it to get it soft!!

Just wanted to let who in charge (paying the bills) since it open after being closed for quite some time.I went to give it another try,,,, waited at the counter for 4 minutes no one came. Place was empty, one other customer at the counter by the cash register.Got tired of waiting and went to spend my money at another place in slidell.So I can't tell anyone good bad just bring a flag to wave. Mabey they will wait on you. Going to a long time before I walk in Dickey'sWork to hard to beg to give my money away

I think this place just opened. The brisket was delicious. The sausage was delicious. And the sides I got, baked beans and potato salad, were very very good. Good. And the guys who work there were really funny and friendly.
