El Paso Mexican Grill - Slidell

The environment here is stunning. Lovely art on every wall, lighting and the furniture are impressive. Service is top-notch, food is plated with care, and the flavors and quality ingredients are just what I hope for with every dining experience. We travel 75 miles to eat @ El Paso Mexican Grill with our family and will pass up all the others. This place delivers! 👌🌮🌶️✨

Ordering online DOES NOT WORK! We ordered food at my work, got there, no food. I was told their tablet was down. She couldn’t see any orders and could not give any refunds. There was no manager and no one in charge there to talk to. I was told to call Carlos at 1pm, he should be back. 5 orders not filled. We have no lunch.

The food is absolutely amazing!! I've had the fajitas, burritos, and quesadillas and every time I'm blown away by the flavor. The service is good but sometimes you feel like they forgot about you. My wife and I went in for lunch today and waited a bit to have our order taken and the music was blasting from the speaker right behind us. There was hardly anyone there so there was no reason to have the music that loud. It became very annoying after about 10 minutes. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Slidell by the way I just want them to improve on the service

Consistently inconsistent with the food
One time you will get a delicious meal, then when you order the same thing, it will be mediocre at best. The Mexican hamburger is the best option. The service is good, understaffed, as are most restaurants. The atmosphere is family friendly.

It wasn't bad; we enjoyed the evening. However, the cheese dip was cold and had a paste-like consistency. Additionally, I ordered another Top Shelf Margarita but never received it. Despite this, we will give these guys another try. Our waitress, Denise, seemed new, but with time, I believe she will be great.

I went here for a business lunch. There were about 16 of us and our waitress rocked it. She was prompt and polite. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The portions were filling and great for the price. Would definitely go back.
