Me and my girlfriend visited Fratellis on February 2nd. Yes its a late review. But its genuine! Lol. We really really enjoyed this place and constantly think about it since we traveled to Texas. The food here is absolutely amazing. Such awesome flavor notes. I highly reccomend this place. The best part (hard to believe because the food was so good) was our service. Our server was so good to us. Conversating and checking on us quite often. This was the best place food wise we had visited in the New Orleans area hands down. Definitely the most memorable and we definitely do our food research. So at the end of the day if you question going here just do it. You wont be disappointed.

We are visiting from out of town and decided to stop in for Italian. The food here is absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. Nice atmosphère and good prices. We are going back before we head home.

Nice, hideaway feel about it. Big place with impressive bar. Killer Italian Margarita. Annoying dinging, which is probably notice that someone's food is up. Good, accommodating, attentive service. Relaxing evening out, unhurried. Tables are spaced such that you can be private and not distracted by other patron's conversations. The veal was overcooked, leaning towards the tough side. My sauce was served over a different pasta than I ordered. The sauce did not stick to the pasta. DEE-vine Italian cake & cannoli. Great bread. 1st time there. Treated a newly engaged couple.

I walked into the restaurant the first time and it felt like I was in Italy ??. The Pizza and the lasagna were very very delicious and our waiter was very kind. Definitely would recommend fratelli's as your go to place!!!

So good! And so affordable! My family always picks this restaurant for any time; birthdays, holidays, just because.
Really good food! I love how this food sits good on my stomach (unlike other Italian places I’ve been where I feel half dead after eating)The flavors taste really fresh and has a homemade vibe to it… they don’t abuse the salt or any other ingredient.Every time I have eaten there every flavor has been balanced to perfection.!It’s a small place relatively… feels cozy and familiar. My daughter is autistic and we can’t go many places with her because of the noise level that usually disturbs her greatly… now at Fratellis the noise level is nice. Soft not too loud music in the background, if you go you totally can hear and talk with the people l without having to scream so it’s a very calming atmosphere so even my little one loves it.We are also new to Slidell so this has been like a small little gem we are happy to have discovered.Kid-friendliness: We go with our autistic daughter we haven’t had an issue (our daughter behaves well though)

Cory and a coworker took excellent care of me, he recommended the salmon piccata. The angel hair and greens in the lemon butter caper tasted excellent, as well as the beautiful strip of salmon. The service was prompt, I can tell the two servers work well together, I was consistently taken care of, regardless of whose table I was. I finished with a tiramisu that was excellently presented and made in house. Beautiful ambience, clean silverware, very organized tables. Wonderfully plated food. I would like to see more mid-body and light body Italian imported wine on the menu. Amarone, Barolo, Montepulciano, Valpolicella, all seem to be missing on the menu. Still a 10/10.

Best Italian in Slidell for sure. Always delicious and they give huge portions. Our favorites are the eggplant Parmesan and lasagna, but everything we've ordered has been delicious.

They do not let you put negative rating or I would. Have not been to this restaurant in three or four years. Well there is a reason. Saw decent crowd upon arrival thought maybe they got better. Absolute dog food. TASTELESS water with my seafood. Manicotti tasted plastic and cheese tased funny. Waitress did not come to table until I was on the last spoonful. If I had not been so hungry I would have left but it was late. Finally as I was done waitress showed up and asked how was it. When informed of the tasteless water with the seafood she told me I should have said something. First off you don't bark back at the customer. Second she never asked until it was gone. Then my wife had not finished her food Manicotti and she asked her if she wanted a box. Told the server it was tasteless and the noodles tasted of plastic, she only took it away. Only about three forks have been removed and she took it away. This waitress is worthless and should not be a server. Didn't remove the bad food from the ticket and would not apologise once. This place should be a body shop it will never get another penny from me. Just like the waitress. Slidell is hurting for good italian if anyone knows of someone that would like to open a good italian place it would do great.
