As to be expected for a typical Hibachi restaurant. Took a bit to seat 6. The food was good, and the service was nothing out of the ordinary. Would recommend.

18% gratiuity left bad taste in mouth everything else is good. Why is that added on for party of 2 at the hibachi table. Definitely not coming back for that reason.

Food was ok. I think for the price they should offer more food. The restaurant is very clean with a great atmosphere for date night. I didn't try the sushi but it looked fresh.

Absolutely disgusting!! The meat in our hibachi was spoiled. You could smell it when they brought it out. The rice tasted metallic. I asked for it to be taken off our tab because we couldn’t eat it. I offered to pay for everything else. The manager was extremely rude and took $4 off our $50 bill. I will NEVER be back.

I had a very bad experience at fugi Yama, the server was no where to be found and the manager was rude. I order the mango shrimp and didn’t quite like it, so I asked to send it back because I only took a bite out of one shrimp. The server brings the manger to the table and she very rudely tells me that they don’t do refunds on food and walked away from the table without even truly talking to me. I then go to the stand and she avoids the fact that I’m standing there waiting and when she finally gets to me I explain what happened and she very dismissively brushed off what I was saying and states that she’ll discount the item and all she does is take off a dollar. I didn’t eat the shrimp and I feel as though not only was my money wasted but my time as well because of how bad the service was, I highly do not recommend this place.

An old favorite. It's been way too long since we've been. They charge a mandatory 18% gratuity on hibachi. I understand why, but I normally top 20% or more. Everything was great.

I used to love eating here but, the service has gotten horrible. I hate that they don’t distribute the food proportionally and that they often have funky attitudes. In 2023 I sat with a full hibachi table. I was last to get my food and only got a tiny portion of rice. I addressed it and the manager basically said “oh well”,. So, a few days ago, against my better judgement, I went back with my cousin and our 2 kiddos. I sat again at a full table. There was a white couple sitting at 1st base, following a black lady and her son, along with me and my family of 4. I sat in spot 6. The chef compacted food onto the white ladies plate, placing rice 2x’s on her plate. Everyone else got a scoop. My son and I shared a meal and we got 1 scoop of rice split between us. When it was time to distribute the steak, it was only myself and the white lady. He gave her more than half of the steak and then split a scoop between me and my son. In the process of placing the steak onto my sons plate he dropped about 5 pieces. He scooped it up and put it on the ladies plate. She was shocked and said “oh wowww, thank you”. My mouth dropped open. The portion of food on our plates was so little , I gave mine to my son and I ate only 2shrimp. Even with giving him my food it was only about half of what the white lady had on her plate. In addition., he was saying things under his breath (like no, I done that already) to my little 6 year old cousin who kept asking to do the tricks with him. The staff really shows how much they are not interested in black patronage. I thought I would try them again because maybe it was just the staff that day, but, I promise this was my last time at this establishment. My money spend everywhere! I will not keep allowing this type of behavior.
