In our opinion, Gallagher's is the finest meal in Slidell, hands down! The turtle soup rivals Commander's; the wedge ranks with the best-large, fresh and flavorful! We traded petite filet for my wife from the surf and turf and ordered the NY Strip. All three were done to perfection! For sides we did the spinach and artichoke plus the garlic mashed potatoes. Wonderful meal sipped down with a body of Prisoner. Kaycee, our fabulous waiter, always was checking on us to make sure everything was perfect, and it was! The entire wait staff were friendly, helpful and attentive! Kaycee topped our 50th off with a wonderful dessert, a nice little lagniappe! Overall a Wonderful evening! Thanks for making it enjoyable!

We had a lovely time... we were seated in the dining room. We ordered our cocktails... mine was lemon drop martini. Excellent! Standard-sized wide rimmed martini glasses filled to the top with ice crystals floating on top. Hot fresh French bread with real soften butter was offered at the table. Then chicken tortillas soup to start, followed by the 8 oz filet perfectly cooked, (excellent), mushrooms, creamed spinach for the table, baked potato. Service staff was attentive and friendly and professional! Gallagher's is becoming one our favorites steak houses.

My wife and I arrived about 20 min early for our table. We chose to sit at the bar until our table was set for 6:30pm. Bar service as very good, we order 2 lemon drop martinis. The bar tend had a list of vodkas to choose from and a local micro distillery. Very good , martinis outstanding!! Our was read for 6:30 and we had a nice table along the back wall, almost dead center on the dining area. Real nice spot!! Hailey was our server, very pleasant, nice big smile. She got us going on our wine order and ultimate on our food. Filet steaks were done very well and sixes easily feed 2 people, at least! Took a little more time to get our order to the table but it was all delicious!! We lingered on our 2nd wine order, watching ppl and talking. We passed on dessert. All told very nice! I recommend Gallagher's!!

Slidell definitely misses Brandon, the manager!! He had that placed running so smoothly and it was always full. Food was still good, not as good as the past. Service not as good as the past. I sure hope they figure it out!! Hire Brandon back and pay him what he's worth!! He's definitely worth it!!!!
